@stortube That is for the monster that fly up and do gusts of air or like Kushala who has a wind protecting him that can push you down. You need Quake Resistance for rajang.

very good guide, just tried gs on rajan for first try (kinda) haha silver soul armor gemmed for crit draw and attck up med, graabbed my siegemund , never got hit unless you count a tiny bit of step damage, first rajang was down in 5 mins :D

after watching the vid and coming across to the spin move, it's always better to stay in the right part of the rajang. since he comes off to spin and attack so much using its left side.

I find using short and shield agood alternative when fighting Rajang too. Since Rajang move a lot more than the other monsters, getting a lot of nimble hits with a good SnS can accumulate. Compared to this video, this guy took down rajang in less than 10mins. It took me at least 20mins to get a chief rajang with Hi Frost Edge with 420 ice element.

I guess its just preference, but I feel comfortable with SnS when fighting Rajang lol. I'll try this next time, thanks for the guide.

Najio, On unite the Akantor Full is nerfed, Full set gives only +5 to hear protection, Full set only has 6 deco slots. head 1, plate 1, gloves 1, waist 2, legs 1. =/

thats final invitation.... try child of destruction and you will see. i can kill anything within less than 10 min with any monster as long as i use my hacked character (this includes aka,uka,fata,red fata,white fata and a popo.) of course i dont know how to hack for its just a savegame (dont worry i have my own character in another memory card) but the felyne fighter hes got is aweome. the cat has 42 000 attack and defense. cool huh?

Heya man, Rajang is in my opinion one of the must unpredictable and frustrating monsters in the game but i can solo kill a G rank 'Final Invitiation' opening Rajang in 7 mins with Ukanlos bow. The larger of the pair usually takes about twenty minutes. Their horns are a bitch to break though! And i need Rajang X! Anyway, Rajang with a bow is a joke. Youtube it, there are loads of vids with people killing SS Rajang (the turbo one) sub 8 mins with a bow and heroics :)

TIP: you should really finish fatalis in mhf2 before you go mhp2g cuz in mhp2g adrenaline+2 and heroics do not stack and the boost are too low for bows....

Now back to ur question

For me just stick to greatswords you'll be trained to fight the melee way, and believe me range weapons are not that much of a use except for big monsters

Reckless Abandon Raises the Affinity of you weapon

when you look at your weapon stats, the page that shows the rarity, next to it is a place that says affinity then a number, that number(or affinity) effects a critical hit ratio, a negative number is bad, but not to the point that you should ditch the weapon, cause then you use the reckless abandon(when you create a decoration its refered to expert skill) to raise that number back to 0 or higher, that help??

For rajang to fall into pitfall trap it has to be in a rage mode. It is the same concept as naruga kuruga but I don't know if you've heard of it before.

arena cause it does not run away but the download rajang is harder, well its really up to you, it does not really matter.
