i feel this guy should work on maybe looking a little more relaxed behind the kit, it'll give him a better stage presence and if he trains up properly he wont lose any power speed or technique. i know im no where near as good but ive only been playing behind a kit properly for about 3-4 years and i look much more comfortable behind the kit than that.

@sebbimon It just looks like moeller to me. Max probably is just better at doing moeller with that hand than he is at doing a wrist or finger technique. Heck, I do the same. I'm not very good at finger blasting with my right hand, so I use the moeller technique to keep my speed and power up. It's pretty helpful once you get used to it. It's either moeller or push-pull.

This is... a big shame. I just watched the official video for "The Great Depression". As I have studio experience myself, I know what can be and is actually done especially concerning the editing of recorded drums. Well... the sound engineer must have done the job of his life here, as he made this boy's sloppy playing sound that good and tight on the album. Must have been a shitload of work. Don't let your bandmates write songs at 260bpm if you can't play at that speed properly. End of story.

He looks like he's trying far too hard to play the drums, and he's set everything as far apart as possible so he has to work super hard to try and hit them all. Woof.
