the trick isn't to jam into the wall like everybody says. you want to lift up and get into it but un-weight yourself. the un-weight is the key to doing wallrides
holy shit dude, ive been tryin those for a while and ive landed some sketchy ones but my friends can do em like mad. is there any kind of trick to it??? or is it just trial and error?
good call... heh, I never thought about wall rides much since I started skating, then I found this spot with a big concrete wall when I was driving around oneday (it was 90 degrees lol) I made like 5 attempts before realizing it wasn't happening lmao.. idk, wallrides on skateboards are mad hard (I mean if its a legit 90 degree angled wall completely verticle) you need to angle your board 90 degrees in order to have any chance at doin it.
actually wallrides aren't that hard, especially those kind of "wallrides" that the guy just did, those are super easy he's basically doing a kickturn on a steep bank. now if he woulda kickflipped into it that woulda taken some skill.
i wonder why i cant find any vids where people are ollying onto a vertical wall? im not even that good of a skater and i can do those, LOL.

sloped walls are pretty easy to wall ride but vertical ones are almost impossible.

@duncansk869 what do you mean by unweighting? Like how you kind of unweight to go up over a crack in a sidewalk?
xHoboMcGeex 1 year ago
like you really have to jump up and unweight, a bit more than you would on a crack on a sidewalk.
duncansk869 1 year ago
easy because its on a slope

Ok, i think you cant call that thing a bank...
But a Wallride on a "normal" 90° to Flat Wall is way more harder...
