My point ( which I thought was perfectly fucking obvious the first time round ) is that you don't fully experience something if you spend the whole time fiddling with your mobile phone.

Yeah going to a pop concert is another example. Although if you are experiencing it yourself you could look at the bright side and say the flashing lights of a sea of cameras and mobile phones add to the effect. (sigh)
