The texans ( where im from ) killed 2k of them before dieing. they werent even suppose to be there, houstons real orders were for bowie to destroy it , but it was a vital middle position in the texas revolution ,and they bought houstons troop 13 days of running

In the lyrics of this song, travis sent a scout out to send a message for reinforcements that "never came never came never came'. that scout was the only survivor (Asside from a mexican ally who pretended to be a prisoner, but thats not in the song.) That scout is refered to as the one that didn't crosss the line in other songs. But we don't know what really happend because the lyrics of this song and others are, athough based on facts, the stuff of legend.

Awsome...but being a Texan, i think you need to do the battle of San Jacinto... It will be difficult to only lose two Texans while wiping out the Mexican army though
