This is the best interpretation I have found on youtube of Tchaikovsky's Op. 39 No. 7. Thanks for posting it! I will recommend that my students listen to it. Emotional and yet tastefully so.

kind playing with right interpretation.......in my op,this little piece about doll shouldnt be played in highly emotional way ....otherwise, with sentimental and balanced expression, and more ...like....piu infantile......like a man telling a sad story for his child....and thats i think how you played it......good work

I played this piece 4 years ago and you have absolutely DESTROYED a wonderful piece!

Your tempo is absolutely rubbish, and its ruining the song. You are moving your hands way too much and over the top on like a clown.

And whats with the facial expressions? Its a piano piece you are playing, not a comical act in the theatre! get a grip!

the rhythm is off, sorry. it is a first year piano student piece, actually. acceleration is not justified in the mid section. At the same time, too much and too soon retardando

at the end is not necessary, it diffuses the effect that you built up so nicely.

You seem to be completely taken away by this simple child's piece:) However, maybe you just started playing the piano, then I apologize.

But sarrasani, at the same time, however, you must never let your forte mean speed up. The human brain naturally equates forte with speed up. Just be careful of this. Other than that, Id say the tempo is only off in the beginning. Explanation: While there should be an eigth note between each key pressing, it seemed like you were giving the second note/chord only a 16th notes worth time before coming in with the third piece of the measure. Practice this and youll be great!

I actually happen to disagree with this "acceleration is not justified in the mid section". Around the middle of the piece it should repeat the same basic principles as those seen in the beginning (aside from small chord changes which we have heard before anyway), it should reach forte as soon as he hits B6 flat. At the same time, I think the minor speed up at this point IS justified because it has to drive through the B4 flat which is not a part of the key we are playing.

No, normal definition with a cheap camcorder

(and separate taking of audio with good mics.). Hd is great, but when you must compress all...about unuseful for yahoo and similar standard. While I find important a good audio, also when compressed.
