(i.e he is good as a supporting MP and we like him, but let me vote for my other guy first) Also psychologically the order the candidates appear in the ballot sheet may influence the order of the votes hence the candidate appearing near or at the bottom of the ballot sheet may get less first choice votes, especially if the voters don't have strong opinion for/against the choice
