  • True

  • The facts are that Ukrainians fought for their freedom. Was there collateral damage and casualties, duh yes. The movie perpetuates hate. The Jewish question in Ukraine in WW2 will only get resolved through time and facts. Being a nationalist is not an evil thing. Being a Nazi and a Soviet occupationist was. How many innocent Ukrainians died at the hands of the Germans and Soviets... THAT fact seems to be lost in the propaganda that this film spreads. Not worth a second mention.

  • OUN fought for Ukrainian independence and UPA was an insurgent army that fought against Soviet imperialism. Naturally they would have to fight those that fought alongside the Red Army which happened to consist of "Jews, Polish and other minorities" plus Russians, obviously. They didn't fight for antisemitism, but for the love for their country and desire to be free. And don't forget the Holodomor, the genocide of Ukrainians by Soviets in 1932-33 that tolled between 7-10 million deaths by hunger.

  • It`s not truth. NKVD dressed like OUN fighters and did such crimes.

  • Ukraińskie kundle!!

  • Bull fucken shit

  • Nice propaganda piece, really. People should do some actual research before shooting movies.

  • I've seen this film. There isn't any one word about OUN UPA, SS-Galizien, Ukrainian National Army!!!

but there is one episod with rings.

Is it continue of "The Lord of Rings"? :)

  • Bravo SS Galicia! They are the TRUE Ukrainian heroes, fighting against Jewish communists. Sieg Heil, 14/88. Jews are not Ukrainians, and never will be.

  • @AntiLiberal14 DIE you pice of trash

  • @Nekraskin this is American movie by Liev Schreiber

  • @ori84 Funny is Liev Schreiber a qualified historian or just a Hollywood actor?

  • @Nekraskin I know that its hard for you to accept the truth about OUN/UPA.

  • @Endikrot Slava Ukraini kotri voyuvaly v lisakh i po horakh proty NKVD i kompartii kotri sotni tysiachi meshkantsiv vysylaly v Sibir. A koly vashi ofitsery strilialy v Katyni i deportuvaly v sybir v 1939-1941 de buly vashi polski khoronyteli?

  • @101Restoration Jebnij sie w łęb

  • @BOLD1914PL OUN UPA are not even mentioned in the film. There is a great documentary out there about the Polish concentration camp called Bereza Kartuzka.

  • @101Restoration Bereza Kartuzka Camp that You mentioned didn't even exist during the war... You know that? And how does this relate to the ukrainian holocaus mentioned in this movie?...

  • @ori84 Bereza Kartuzka was a Polish concentration Camp constructed in Pilsudski's interwar Poland that imprisoned opponents of the Polish regime, including many Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera among them. It was this example of Polish oppression and tyranny towards western Ukrainians that helped stimulate the growth of UPA during WWII and its struggle against attempts by Poles to re-occupy western Ukraine. That is how it is relevant to the events of WWII.

  • This movie is not the "sad truth about the UPA".

  • Bullshit !

  • sad but true...

btw. nice profile... I see You are very proud of ukrainian-nazi cooperation during II WW, and ukrainian divisions of SS and luftwaffe troops...

  • @ori84 You ignorant Piece of Shit. Go and research realy history. Not Russian propaganda.

  • @ori84 not nearly as devastating as Nazi-Soviet co-operation or Soviet Polish collaboration.

  • @ori84 good luck to you in life with such a distorted perspective on history.

Your kind of propaganda damages Israel which last time we noticed needs friends. Hard to be friends with a people that perpetuates hate and unfortunately brings hate to it's doorstep via supporters like you. Russia-Nazi cooperation, French-Nazi Cooperation, Roumanian-German cooperation, American-Jewish cooperation. No good has come from any of this...

  • what movie is this

  • "Everything Is Illuminated"
