  • question.....does the type of soil or environment make a difference as to how well one of these machines performs?

  • leaky bear!!!

  • How much is a brand-new one?

  • Nice machine, but you are right 180 grand!!!

  • I am looking at buying the bigger 634, or a Cat 963D. Not sure which is the better machine. I see lots of conflicting comments. So which one?

  • I have run both and I still prefer a Cat. The main reason is I like two sticks for the loader controls and Cats controls have a quicker response with no delay. Their is a Reason Cat out sells any other brand of Track loaders. They haven't changed their loader design since they made the first rear mounted engine track loader. Why change a perfect design. Liebherr tried to copy without success.

  • Cat stole that Idea from International . International had the first rear engine track loader but it was too early for its time just never caught on then Cat bought the patten and I guess just at the right time . the 953 is a good loader.

  • this place is the sandbox of my dreams!

  • It's a loader...it's a dozer...It's a load of bull! (just kidding)

  • a cat 953 is better than this machine.

  • not really. A Liebherr will out work a Cat any day of the week

  • lol are u kiding me? A cat 953 or 963 would out run this machine anyday. Ask any operater who operates a cat.

  • I am an operator who operates both. so no need to ask anyone

  • I know right. Im a huge cat fan, I believe the bigger cats and even the smaller are the most durable and reliable machines you can even get.

  • look nice little machine!

  • Sure is a good lookin' machine.

  • It's got some balls in it for sure.

  • I was surprised at how well the machine dug and pushed dirt. not bad for a 4 cylinder!

  • letsdig18, Liebherr makes its own engines, a 7 liter 4 cylinder of up to 200hp and a 10.5 liter six pot. The 4 banger is bigger than most of the competitions six pots.

I still dont like the Dana hydrostatic they use in their loaders though...

  • @letsdig18 the loader would come in handy for moving trash at a burn pile

  • @letsdig18 you should have bought that one

  • @letsdig18 the john deere 755d is a liebherr

  • @letsdig18 basically a john deere 755d

  • so what did you buy at the show? you know you need a machince for all those pond clearings to clear off the banks. nice machine though

  • $180,000 i won't be buying this haha!

  • its only a mortgage payment lol.

  • o soo your doing sum soo called demo cause u dont have a track loader and u needed one for that job

  • Awesome machine! Im gonna have to go look up its specs.

So how do you like it Chris? Is it a permanent piece of equipment for your operation?

  • I really liked it, I would be nice but for 180K I just don't see enough use for it!

  • @letsdig18 the deere is the same not shure if its any cheaper we had a liebherr 634 there nice

  • Ooh nice loader!!

    when you get it?
