Hmm, the weight of the car doesn't play a role like a limiter of the top speed.The weight of the car is not a factor.The big weight makes the car slow from 0 - 100,so that car is not as fast as the new models,but when we talk about top speed,I think that avery car that is 350hp and more,can reach 300km/h.
The catalizators are removed ,so the bhp are a little bit more than in a stock S600.
The car i pretty fast on a highway.I can hit the limit of 300 /not mesured with gps/ but when i shot the clip my tires were 235/60/16 in bad condition.
Now i have new 255/45/18 and I am thinking of making new clip.
This is 1995 W140 AMG.There are no serial produced W140 AMG,but this is custom made one.When W140 was produced the only way to make it AMG was to buy it from Mercedes and take it to AMG for tune up for some prize.You tell them what changes do you want and after that they are making them.

@brainysnaeha , no , 500 V8 is fast but compared to 600 V12 , there is big difference.
S600 has around 100 horse power more than S500.
One ordinary car has 100hp,

We have a used 1994 S600 SEL here it's around 6,000 dollars.

@brainysnaeha , both cars can reach only 250km/h because they have electronic speed limiter at that speed /250kmh/ , which can be removed.
The difference between 500 and 600 is in the time needed to reach the top speed.
p.s My limiter is removed....

Yes,it is the stock 6.0L V12.
It can go up to 300,but how real is the speedometer ,,,, I can't say.
There is no limiter of the speed and the catalisators are removed.
For 408hp car,there is no problem to run at 300km/h.
Cars with much less hp do the same speed.

I am not really sure how to explain it.
I only know that it mesures the oil pressure.
I think that when you force the car ,the pressure must go to 3 points,but when you drive calm and the car is warm the pressure must be between
1 and 3..... somewhere around 2....
