  • your a mezzo

  • Bravissima!

  • I heard this song today at a singing forum and i love the song. You sounded good

    too!

  • This was very good. I have sung this song & it's not horribly hard but it's also not really easy. I think there was a bit too much "a" in "J'ai" (I think it should sound more like "gem" with the nuanced "j") but there was definitely a lot to like about this voice - steady, full tone, and attention to the language. I'm going to bookmark it. Thanks!

  • Wow thank you for posting this. It's gonna help me for my audition

  • I thought Keahughes needed to work on her vocal production. She sang flat much of the time and lacks resonance and vibrato. But I know how difficult this seemingly simple song is. I'm performing it in recital tomorrow, tenor voice. Wish me luck folks. I'll post an audio clip of it.

  • Keahughes has not only to work in vocal production but in humanity. Maybe she is mad, she dares to critises when even she sings a little better than a dog.

  • Of the three versions on You-Tube, Maija's is my favorite for several reasons: the overall interpretation, quality of accompaniment, sincerity of expression and overall vocal quality. Frankly, I don't care if the singer uses a score or not, although memorization can provide freedom and confidence. Perhaps she performed on a last-minute request.

  • If it was a recital, it's not unusual for the singer to use the score. Even the greats have been known not to sing entirely from memory for concert performances.

  • it was fresh

  • I think was very well expressed but I always sing this from memory, well everything normally.. you need to work on your french though, but well done. Please take a look at mine which I've added, I'm a soprano.. what key were you singing in?

  • hi.. i watched your video.. i think maija sang the song better.. sorry.. her intonation was better.. yours was a little flat most of the time..and her voice was freer and more resonant.

  • I wasn't commenting about her voice, no trouble there, no need to respond like that when I was talking about something else!

  • ps: hers is obviously a performance. Mine hadn't been rehearsed beforehand, just a friendly sing song with friends on the spur of the moment. It is necessary to work up to a performance with a particular piece to get the best results.

  • And KEAHUGHES hast to work not only in the french but also singing. She sings so horribly. And even so criticises? She does not sing from memory neither, just give a look to Mozart Duets of her, just a wannabe.

  • Gorgeous voice. Why is there music in front of the singer? This piece should have been memorized!

  • My sentiments entirely, and look what a response I get when I mentioned it! see my comments above.

  • If you put your emotins in your voice, and stop the hand movements, you will be an effective performance and feel more comfortable. Yes, I am a performer myself and I can tell that you are worried in your subconscience. You need not worry, because your voice will blossom when you put full faith in it.

  • Yes. and if you are practising the song for a performance it is going to be better than the first time you've sung it for a year, like me!

  • I don't know what you're talking about it. I heard a lot of emotion in this womans voice. It's beautiful!
