@StealthWar95 I actually do as well but most people seem to dislike it. It also gets allot more false positives then avast. Witch is bad for most users because they may destroy files needed for there programs.
@silentpoet1988 So far I've only gotten a false positive on a file related to FLStudio9. I know what I'm doing well enough that I know what is needed and not. But I understand your logic with choosing Avast.
@18T220 Disabling Windows Security Center and Anti-Virus is a bad idea. Same with auto updates. If you wanna disable auto-updates then update daily. Not biannually. What you're suggesting is taking things a little to far. Learn the consequences of those "optimizations" before you start suggesting them to other people.
@18T220 Microsoft puts out many security and performance updates daily, so you're missing out for 6 months out of the year. You've could have viruses and other malware on your computer and not even know it because you have nothing to detect whether it's there or not so disabling anti-virus software and Windows Firewall is still a bad idea.
Yea but you can't get a virus from internet browsing, in 9 years of daily PC use I only got 2 viruses and they where because I downloaded dodgy files without scanning them.
Since Windows vista/7 I havent found a single virus, if you download alot of files from untrusted sites then yea keep all the security on.
@18T220 See, I was under the impression you didn't know what you were talking about. You actually run scans and don't download random shit. I see your logic now. and as you said, I download a lot, so I keep all my security features on and updated.
there are a harddisc full of optimalisation programs, why dont anybody use them... like: 1.ASC(advanced system care) 2.regclean pro 3.windows 7 tweaker 4.AVG tuneup 5.registery machenic 6.registery booster 7.registery cleaner 8.CCeaner 9.TuneUp Utilities 10.uniblue Speed Up My Pc... try one of these or do it youself!!!
WTF haping in the comments i thought i see thx you and like ppl like i <3 you or something so im going to show suport for him i <3 you thx you so much :D
@ObservedFIREFLY I tell you to set up a restore point prior to doing that To avoid issues like that. I have never had it go wrong ether. When ever your doing a reg edit you have to do everything perfect or your boned.
@ObservedFIREFLY Actually, if you copied me exactly you are to blame because your value will be most likely different then mine. that's why i showed you where to get yours.
@silentpoet1988 i do stuff using the registry all the time, i dont get things wrong especially if there being told to me word for word, are you on a desktop or laptop,
@ObservedFIREFLY and I'm not going OMG you fail!!!! But i have done this tweak on about 30 systems so far laptop's desktops and windows xp, vista and 7 so I have no idea what happened that caused your system to fail. Maybe it's incompatible with another reg tweak you have.
@ObservedFIREFLY Never mind you are just a fail i tried to make peace and you just throw it back in my face. You made the change and sense your the only one out of 27,000 to complain then its quite obvious that you just can't follow simple instructions. Crawl back in your hole troll.
@silentpoet1988 you make peice by blaming other people for something you have said is ok, clearly i am not a troll as i have had to restore my system, its not my fault you fail to see how you caused this argument to start, firstly you insult my abilitys to listen to instructions, then you tell me i cant use the registry properly, your abilitys to make peice are more of a throw back in my face then my supposed trolling,
@zvertigoz444 avoid the registry tweak and the part where i changed the amount of cores when it boots up parts and i can guarantee it wont hurt ! they are mostly minor tweaks so they wont help a tun windows 7 is actually a good OS already so maybe get 10% out of following all of the tips and i think i included annotations for the things you should avoid if you don't feel comfortable doing like the registry tweak playing around in there can be dangerous so i can show you how but if you do make
@zvertigoz444 a mistake it will most likely screw up your system so be wary :) and i know your question was for other people not the creator of the video but i just though i would throw my 2 cents in :P
@MegaYogcast just adding ram wont make your computer faster if there's extra processes running and other stuff gunking up your computer and if your already over the amount of ram you need these tips also help my new computer is running 6 gigs and on the system i made this on i beleave i had 3gig's of ram also readyboost is allot slower then actual ram.
@silentpoet1988 trust me do the usb thing i said it makes your computer fast it use to take me 5mins to open google chrome now it takes 6secs and guess what? i have a 1gb computer
@MegaYogcast i know it helps but its not going to help anyone with a decent amount of ram that was my point 1 gig of ram is nothing nowadays so that's why it helps you. because normaly your computer was going straight to the hard drive for virtual memory with a max throughput of about 50-70 MBps so it going to your 480MBps flash drive gives you more speed for a system with 3 gigs of ram running just normal apps and internet browsing is not going to impact the ram that much.
@master10dude Honestly i don't remember i haven't made a new video in a long time because i haven't learned any new speed enhancing tricks, and i format my computer every 2 months or so, so i lost the program and never really had the need to get it again.
@master10dude Haha and i just got a idea for a new video and whent on a search for the old program its called bb flashback express free addition you can find it on download.com
@silentpoet1988 No it's not, I have windows 7, explain why the start orb is larger than the bar, and the notification area is completely different? and why when you cliked on a shortcut on this so called "windows 7 bar" that it didn't fade yellow? and the icons are smaller? didn't think so..
@tdimelowsteel Its called customization dumb ass, I want my notifications area to show all open programs not just a few and I checked the use small icons box that shrinks the task bar down. I show you how to do that in the second part of the video. Everything has to be some kind of a trap for you retards doesn't it.

My speed up list.
1. Disable windows security centre
2. Disable any antivirus (scan only downloaded files)
3. Search 'MSCONFIG' disable all startup programs apart from the essential ones
4. In MSCONFIG disable all non windows services
5. In internet explorer disable all addons apart from Flash player
6. Disable windows automatic update (update manually every 6 month)
Done you PC will run about 30-60% faster.

@StealthWar95
I did it for over 2 years and I never get viruses or problems. As long as you scan each downloaded file before you open them you wont get viruses.
Why would you need to update daily? Thats just a waste of time. I've only updated about 5 times in 2 years and I get no problems.
