Beautiful playing but I think she hasn't quite adapted the typical Prokofiev-tone. Her tone is rich and beautiful rather than tense and powerful.

Prokofief wrote this conserto and after few years rewrote and rename as''Symphonia consertante''... I like both. But if Prokofief prefer the new one, whats the reason to play this?

"Prefer" is kind of misleading. He gave the Symphony-Concerto a new opus number, and considered it a different piece entirely, although it uses some of the same material in a radically different way. Perhaps it is critical to know that at the premiere of the new version it was called "Cello Concerto no.2", a sure sign he saw it as a different composition. (there were some revisions, largely at Rostropovich's suggestion, before it became the "Symphony-Concerto".
