@paliesq He temporally retired his hofner in the late 60's oviously used it again for abbey road and that. but for wings he used his Rickenbacker bass (asme bass in the hello goodbye video etc) really great sound on it.

I was lucky enough to see this tour when they played in Toronto. I've seen a lot of concerts since then but this one still stands out as being one of the best I've ever seen. Seeing this and the way they opened their show again still brings that thrill up my spine. Thank you so much for uploading this.

It's better in concert than the recording. McCartney always wanted a rock band. He got it with Wings. Junior's Farm is the other one I could listen to over and over. (TAKE ME AWAY, JIMMY!)

The bit when they blast into Jet...it used to get shown on VH1's Rock Night, the channel would change to classic rock at 9pm...I used to get goosebumps at the start...this is Paul McCartney blasting out a killer song on bass guitar, with a white hot band, at their most popular period...the naivety of being a child seeing it, I didn't know what he'd done before this, or after...but I knew I liked this, a lot.
