  • This song is still in my head

  • The overture, or introduction of this song emotionally crushes...intensely capturing a precious and troubling moment for the child who witnesses her mother betray her father, with a cultural hero no less!

  • Yeah, On second listen I agree, Amy Winehouse does it well

  • The greatest Xmas album ever made was the Spector Album.

  • It's SCARY to realize this is the music of my youth, I am of the generation that remembers this song as one of the best Christmas songs ever recorded..I'm not OLD, but I guess I'm not young! Thanks for sharing!

  • Foul language in comments just shows your lack of education. I'd suggest you make no comment rather than make yourself look stupid!

Also this song has been sung by many different artists, including a little boy. Not just the Ronnettes. Jane

  • @candygrl122 Don't know where you're coming from with this comment!

The version in the video was performed by by the Ronettes - Ronnie Spector, Estelle Bennett & Nadra Talley. It was originally released on the Philles label album "A Christmas gift for you" (4005) in 1963, - later, re-released on the apple label as "Phil Spector's Christmas album" in 1972. The Ronettes performed 3 tracks on this album which got to #3 in 1963 and #6 in 1972 ----- I have the 1972 vinyl version in my collection.
