Lots of guns have 40 rounds lol. The Heckler und Koch MP7 for example can support 40 round magazines. M16/M4s can have 40 round magazines. All shapes and sizes my friend =P

I think the lacking power from the sound clip could be that the shots need more bass. That added depth generally gives the listener a sense that the weapon fired is actually pretty powerful. Make certain if you do modify the sound clip that the strong bass is heard roughly only a tenth of a second long or it may sound fake. Otherwise, you have a pretty good sound clip here. Nice.

Awesome, what did you use to make the sound? And is the mod still in the works?

It was the combination of a bunch of things. I used the sound of a camera flash warming up for the whine, a cannon pitched up a couple of octaves and a Novation A-Station Synth for the tail of the sound.
