No the k20 and k24 engines are some of the best of all time, I love the vq35 but the k series are amazing motors. But any car can be built up.

@02max245 yea i do myself like the vq35 used in plenty of nissans cars.suv's,etc the g35 being the best use of the engine but hondas greaest production was the b series they may be old and reused more then underwear but they get the job done for less money sound better and are way lighter then the k series but my personal fav of nissan are the ka,sr,and rb series inline all day v-style is to american

hahah I will be the first one to admit i want a 03 supercharged cobra. But seeing how im still communting to school 100 miles away. Also have a 5 year old son that is not very practical at the moment. With that said though i know my maxima does not sound like a electric blender and also i run a 14.1 at the track without a lsd and shitty tires and have hit 159mph in it and i still get 32 mpg on interstate going the speed limit

@H1mynameisLarry i did not say dat i said a type r not a type s which is for acuras but a normal civic no cant dream of touching an m3 of any year but a type r was crafted for track use its seemingly low power is perfect for its extremly light weight ive seen cars with less power and heavier run the same i run a 15.3 in a stock integra no "mods" wat so ever and factory weight so a normal civic no but a type r is a whole other situation look up ur facts

Rafael, i'm not sure if you're drunk or not but a "TYPE S" civic STOCK is not faster than a M3. M3's run those times. I'm not saying that your baby engine girly looking car cannot achieve those numbers but it can with a LOT OF MODS. You can put a lot of mods in ANY car and make it fast so the 'type s' civic is not a race car. its a cute car that should be driven ONLY by girls.

i DOUBT it was tuned by stillen, but exhaust sounds deep, probably y-pipe-back (i have a stillen y-pipe w/ full pacesetter exhaust) and stock headers, it sounds about the same as yours, and i only have the vq30de.. ANd.. i also beat a new civic si not 2 weeks ago, both times from a roll (45mph 2nd gear) through 110ish - nice rides tho

ehh it has pretty bad traction problems the civic has limited slip diff I dont so i get tons of wheel spin thats why unless i get a awsome launch im chasing him down. but thanks for the comment

my bro car only 280hp. with out cai, stillen header, flash chip, and kinetix intake. my bro car use a k&n flow filter, unnorthbox pulley, hks sort exhaust, nwp thermal spacer kits! and this car go 13.8 of 1/4 mile without speed shift and nwp thermal spacer kits. like 1 years ago my bro beat 2005 honda civic si turbo 260 hp! he got $275 dollar.

The car was like this when I bought it so I have never seen it on a dyno so im refering to 300 AT THE CRANK not wheels. And if you are refering to crank you are wrong bc its 255 stock and just the hearders alone off stillen's site say they add 19 rwhp

ya I guess i should make that clear I bought the car like this. The guy before me said it was tuned by stillen. And getting on their website it says their hearders add 19 rwhp. and i ment 300 crank bc stock its 255 then 275 with hearders then i guess 5 or so from intake 280 then a modest 10 from exhaust so 290 pluse ecu stuff. I have not had the chance to dyno or have it at the track my self but as soon as i do i will upload those vids. Thx for the comment
