  • between The Countess (2009) and Bathory (2008) which one is better ??

  • Very very moving and well done film.

  • Comment removed

  • beautiful move..so underrated......

  • wtf

  • i was wondering, is this film more based on the actual facts? or did they make it supernatural in a way?... that she stays young in the film kinda way??.... if im making sense lol

  • This trailer make the story seem like a tragic live story than a horror story...

  • These people's responses make me sick!..They obviously do not understand the art of film and only see it through their own myopic eyes..Films like this are wasted on most of these commentors..Go back to "Twilight" or Disney..

  • @recluse5 i agree, kinda... lol I enjoy films like this and films based on history and dont care for the stupid peoples remarks either. but i also do actually enjoy disney films, mostly older ones, and the twilight saga is an ok series as well. Im very cultural though and maybe thats a whole other level as well. but dont you agree?, people should be open to everything and not compare things or "metaphore" things, or stereotype things, etc. so much negativity.... :(

  • after watching this movie i gave it a 4 of 5 thumbs up, it was truly inspirational. being a younger man (22) in a relationship with an older woman (32) this movie cuts deeply. Love can make a person lose their mind. To have the love of my life torn from my arms... would be unbearable.

  • I've been waiting forever for someone to make a movie about this! I never even heard of this one though. I always pictured this story to have a really juicy, seductive movie. Looks kinda like a snore. I will give it a try sometime though. Maybe it's trailer doesn't do it justice.

  • WOW a movie about Elizabeth Bathory? bout time looks actually good to sign me up

  • So what is this? A vampire flick?

  • @Nukeaholic NO! LOL...A not so accurate version of The Countess Elizabeth Bathory story, that used to bathe in virgins blood because she thought it would bring back her youth and keep her young and pretty

  • @FIENDISHFILMSSTUDIOS "period drama" is what I experience twice a month living with 2 women, your wrong, its not entertaining.... also please thank your wife for the use of her hand last night, although grip strength wasn't quite up to par

  • @ollygee Thats Direspectful As Hell, BUT!! Also Funny As Hell LMAO

  • Watched THE COUNTESS last night and found it to be entertaining as a period drama, love story and horror film.

  • the countess is what im going to call my wifes vagina from now on

  • @ollygee OMG LOL!!

  • @ollygee and by wife, you mean your hand.

  • @ollygee oh my GOD LMFAO !

  • @ollygee gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "period piece" when referring to this kinda movie huh?

  • bram stoker used elizabeth bathory and vlad as inspiration for the original dracula

  • dont like it

  • @frostedlambs me neither.

  • Elizabeth Bathory is also a blood relative to Vlad Dracula himself.

  • I heard this movie was actually pretty bad.

Was disappointed...BUT IMA STILL WATCH IT.

  • @Kylawlz It's great; I downloaded it and the best thing about this movie is how it shows her madness in it's purest form. She murders these girls, but when she returns to lucidity after her trial after being caught, she then denounces the accusations as lies that try ot make her look silly and vain. It fills in the blanks while including the moments that are part of the legend.

  • Seems more like a romance then the actual stories surrounding her life that has made her name common knowledge into the present day.

  • Based On A True Story
