ok i just wanna say that i cried at the bioncle memorial but hero factory is the future so rather then decline it we should embrace it i loved bioncle since i was 5 and i'm 10 now so i think we should love it when you think about it (and i'm not badmouthing bioncle) hero factory are more creative because you don't need to give it an element, it doesn't need a giant backstory and they are the future they are gone st we must adjust to it please make this the top vote comment so everyone sees this

My only qualm with Bionicle at the moment is the fact that the story still confuses me to no end. Despite having read it over several times, how everything came about still is beyond me. This for example. Apparently the Toa Mata received some sort of training before being locked in their canisters. Who trained them? Why didn't they remember anything? I wish someone could make some sort of a course in Bionicle Canon.

they remained 100.000 years in their canisters, until they would be summoned (in a coma)

during that, their organic tissue began to decay (they had to rebuild themselves when they came out)

their memory decayed as well ;)

the new ones are too easy to build. most of the cool parts are just one piece that you put on, not like the old ones where you had to put together a couple of the smaller simple pieces to make a cool piece.

From the Bionicle Bio, I've read that the Toa Mata's are over 12 ft. tall, When they transform into Toa Nuva's they are 15 ft. tall. And finally, when they are Toa Mistika's they are 20 ft. tall! Imagine how big Mata Nui would be!

Ah.. nostalgia. I remember obsessing over these and bought every set of the first generation. 5 sets of Nuva, 3 sets of Bohrok, 3 Kals, i think, 2 metru, 1 armor, 1 beast thing, 1 rakshi, etc.

I'm trying to model one of these for its parts, but the trunk gear box is such a pain to model with all of its angles.
