@TheVikiLaki Thats a rather ignorant statement. While Verdun was a huge French battle, the Somme and Passchendaele were majority British affairs. The Gallipoli campaign while a failure was also a British attempt. While out of the three major powers the Americans did by far the least they still had an important role in the victory. British imperial forces lost 1,115,000 men, france lost 1,700,00 men, Russia lost 3,300,000 men. This includes civilian casualities, which for Britain was very low.
