  • @mop9i40k Are you retarded?

  • We had to do it,they would have had sex with all the girls in the country, Remember politicians and deputys and f.bi.and c.i.a. think they have a license to kill, and lie on there report,so you dead astronauts must be fools, you don't have a license to kill, like the B.T.K. police do !!!

  • And they said they landed moon, lol guys you cant even take man to the space, what about trip to Mars? Is Hollywood ready?

  • I speak Deutsch, I was sure they didn't speak in english nor Deutsch.

  • my GOD ! horrible! what a disaster. may those brave souls R.I.P.

  • They are talking partially Dutch.

  • VILE

  • le premier débris qu'on a trouvé de la navette c'était dans qu'elle vile exacte du Texas?????? la clé du mystère columbia

  • the astronauts know they can die doing this, so why cry when they do get killed. .. if they did not want to worry about death be a teacher

  • I can hear the sucking sound in my wallet every time I watch a launch. $25 per American household per launch. 2,000 space suits at $26,000,000.00 each. A very inefficient way to go to space, and sometimes even ineffective.

  • @altgeldrarities Oh waaaa, atleast our government isn't spending our money on war and bail-outs... oh wait

  • I am sorry to say but this is not an US Army Apache but an Royal Netherlands Airpforce Apache . We have currently 5 apache based there that are Dutch and flow by dutch pilots for training other new dutch pilots on the Apache.

  • @Kandahar2005 the desc. says that the aircrew was american, not the apache

  • @Kandahar2005 Odin shall protect us!

  • The apache targeting system keeps picking up a heat signature...

  • Unable to understand a single word except the onboard computer's voice.

  • What the fuck language were those guys speaking!? This is America damnit!

  • @katanawraith

this is NOT America.. THIS IS SPARTA

  • That's fucking nuts

  • Dutch crew on a trainingsmission in the US, flying an US Apache. They talk Dutch, not Danisch, Indian, Swahili or whatever:

0:24: "Zo te zien is het redelijk drassig...". EN: "It looks quite swampy".

0:29: "Eens kijken wat er hier is...". EN: "Let's see what we have here"

0:33: "Is de .... nog steeds aan?". EN: "Is the ... still on?"

  • @roeptoetert "Dutch crew on a trainingsmission in the US"

Ah. The Columbia Accident Investigation Board had it listed as a crew from Denmark. That must have been a mistake. Thanks for the correction!

  • What language was that? Aache helo my ass

  • @TheEmpowered787 Danish. The crew of the Apache were Danish on a training mission at Fort Hood.

  • @moya138 YES CONTACT A CON ARTIST AND GET SCAMMED

  • @chingchombuela Sorry i dont need the money i have plenty.

  • @moya138 you mean you're allowance?

  • @chingchombuela My money you mean that i am allocated .

  • @moya138 Moya get off the computer this instant young lady!

  • @chingchombuela MONEY! u have money,,well then do you want to buy a watch?? pure silver (wink) shineyy,,i also have ben 10 watches for sale (wink)

  • @d9andy992 how big are they?

  • ok il be good :)

  • @d9andy992 That makes no sence what-so-ever

  • @d9andy992 @BrickAndBeyond STOP!!Ive read over the argument and I agree and disagree with brick.

How you might ask?Well I can see why Brick would angered with the fact that d9andy992 said that, but its NOT mocking the dead. And d9andy992 You did kind of blow up a brick and you were OBVIOUSLY mad.

SO PLEASE STOP SPAMMING THE COMMENTZ!!!Hoped this helped

  • it would take a lot more than your feable attemps to anger me,in fact i had a giggle,,where does it say that im mocking the dead? another fact you big dum dum,im not an american ,happy days

  • @d9andy992 Really you giggled over that!Because by the looks of your spelling and grammar in that last comment it looked like you were angry.(But I know your not going to admit it)

  • @BrickAndBeyond Australia* Lousy*

  • @FacePlantingIsFun Whoops,didnt catch that

  • @FacePlantingIsFun

You stupid Kiwi's seem to love it here.

  • @SPOOKSTR Where? Australia? Dude I was just correcting the guy's spelling.

  • @SPOOKSTR

    Sorry man, my apologies!!!

  • @BrickAndBeyond dude, shut the fuck up

  • @Bartbort1 "Dude" ,if you would actually look at the FULL conversation we had we both agreed to stop arguing and agreed that we were both wrong and right, so you shut up.

  • @BrickAndBeyond okay sorry, just im tired of seeing people fight on youtube

  • @BrickAndBeyond but do they blend :)

  • @BrickAndBeyond You say reason one for blocking then go on to rattle off 3 things causing the blocking. You know retardation is a medical condition and you really shouldn't throw that word around as an insult, it's childish and offensive.

  • @rocknrolljunkie2011 You should know that arguement ended months ago,and you weren't any part of it,so mind your own buisnes and then I will stop saying "retard/retarded"

  • @rocknrolljunkie2011 sorry, honey, but posting that kind of abusive, disrespectful language on a public forum MAKES it MY business. If you have no more respect or brain power to say that sort of things, take it privately, some of us don't like seeing posts from complete morons. Thanks and keep wearing that helmet of yours. lol

  • @BrickAndBeyond How does something that mocks the entire nation of Australia based only on one person's comments end up becoming a 'top comment' itself? It is difficult to imagine the mentality of those who vote up something so obviously inflammatory on a video clip with such a sombre nature. This is really shameful. :(

  • @Praetor1967 Are you Austrailian yourself?

  • @BrickAndBeyond For the record, yes, I am Australian. However, it doesn't matter which nation you chose to insult. You responded to a single person's comment with a slur about a whole class of people - is it that difficult to imagine that others would take offence to your comment, especially in the context of this video clip?

  • @Praetor1967 Ok,Im sorry

  • @BrickAndBeyond Thank you... apology accepted. Now, what can be done about shifting your comment off the 'top comments' spot? I don't think it is appropriate that it is the first comment people read when viewing this video, especially since it's four months old now.

  • @Praetor1967 I'll get rid of it

  • It was not a accident , but a strike towards an object eg saucer type space craft, coming in from space towards new mexico area sector 2.This other craft was behind the shuttle so it could shadow columbia coming into the earth.I have full information on this event in great detail. Its target was the object not the shuttle. But the object was so close to the shuttle , it had to be it.

  • @moya138 cool KABOOM owch owch hot hot oh help we are on fire ,wheeeeee

  • @d9andy992 Ok, I have to say that what you wrote was just...TOO FUNNY! LOL!!!!

  • @d9andy992 Thats not funny at all Jack-Ass,if your family members died in that ship would you appreciate a stupid joke like that

  • @BrickAndBeyond how about you go and fuck youself,go back to your gay freinds and keep playing you video games, then have ur mummy make ur dinner you zit faced 16 yr old twat, the shuttle crew survived the blast and only died when they hit the water at mack2,,hugs and cuddles from mummy,,mwah

  • @moya138 Common sense is the first casualty of conspiracy theorists. You also sound like you need a woman.

  • Why is there beeping noise whenever he talks?

  • the apache soldiers are european? sounds russian or dutch. more like the russians were checking things out.

  • Holy cow !!! they shot down the Columbia !

  • OMG! were they getting a lock on the shuttle at 0:18 ?

  • @parcer4401 i see that to , at that crash speed how advanced is that US Apache Helicopter???

  • @parcer4401 No they were zooming in

  • @parcer4401

    absolutely !

  • Hey he even managed to lock it up at 0.19. Now that would've added salt to the wounds if he's have skewered the falling wreckage with a stinger or hellfire.

  • Do you think that the astronauts suffered when this happened, like all of the falling apart caused extra loud sounds, too loud for a human ear, or the cockpit imploding and them being crushed?

  • USSR made his own shuttle it calls BURAN ........... When i look on Buran,i understand that's shuttle is garbage for killing astronavts!

  • @ProteussTheGreat that depends on what you would call the "finnish line". the USSR definately made it to space first. the usa was the first on the moon though, and prior to the end of the shuttle launches, held the majority of manned space flight hours. but as of the end of the shuttle launches, american astronauts will be tagging along on russian launches, so it could be any way you like it.

  • they really need to clean their tads...

  • @Iced551 Thumbs up? You're looking for thumbs up on a video of lives being lost? You might not see them but they're there.

  • wow people used to be in that

  • 0:33 Vannaf daar! dit is een nederlandse apache...

ik dacht ben ik nou gek of spreke ze nederlands?

They are speaking dutch... I wass like "What the?...

  • 215alesio it wasn't metal fatigue, it was caused by a piece of foam striking the leading edge of the left wing on takeoff, causing a 6-8" hole in the thermal protection material.

  • @47421sawyer The BBC lunchtime news had a piece of footage from the onboard camera in orbit that clearly showed a jagged 'tear' down the port wing around 18" wide. The tiles where missing or broken and you could clearly see the airframe. By the 6 oclock news, this piece of footage had been edited out and I've never seen it anywhere since. I don't believe for one moment it was foam or ice.

  • @3Deity Which camera took the picture ? There is not a camera that could see the leading edge of the wing....I also question the tile statement you posted. There are no tiles on the leading edge of the wing..

  • @aimhigh59 It was when the shuttle was in orbit. There is a long thin robot arm (fine in zero gravity) and there is a camera that attaches to this - the crew can inspect the belly of the vehicle without need for spacewalk. The damage may have been to the leading edge, I don't recall that, as I and my aircraft designer father where so jaw dropped by the large line of tiles missing off the top of the port wing.

  • @3Deity Your wrong. The RMS or robotic arm as you call it did not fly on that flight. The flight was a Spachab flight which is a labratory that sits in the cargo bay attached by a tunnel. The arm dos not fly to save weight. Remember, the inspections they do now which are mandatory using the arm were because of the accident. You didnt see a photo of damage because there wasnt one. Again, there are no tiles on the leading edge. No cover up was made ! For what reason ?

  • @aimhigh59 Who keeps mentioning leading edges? Not me! RMS - Route Mean Square? Acronyms mean little. Well, all we know is what we and several million other people saw. Its interesting to note that as the shuttle accelerates, so the atmosphere thins. When its doing 8,000mph, ice crystals float around with the craft. The biggest strain on the craft is breaking the sound barrier at a mere 770-850mph and the leading edge ceramics can withstand that easily.

  • @3Deity My point exactly. People look at the wing and say tiles are missing but they are not. The leading edge is made of RCC panels with no tile on it. RCC-Reinforced Carbon Carbon. You wont find a picture because there absolutly are none of tiles missing. RMS-Remote Manipulating System-the robotic arm.

  • @aimhigh59 So, to save further pointless gesticulation; You cannot say I was wrong as much as I cannot find the appropriate footage. Its a shame. I know a number of people that saw it. I am actually tempted to recreate the footage in 3D, except I can't be bothered!

  • @aimhigh59 There was a programme on UK TV in which this really dodgy looking guy who spoke like a robot tried to replicate the damage to the leading edge. He managed it, just, and the producers where not convinced it wasn't rigged as none was allowed to examine the pieces afterwards. Of course, the question is why would any cover up be made? National pride, looming elections, little green men? Who knows!

  • I'm excited about the atlantis lift_off

  • Do you guys really believe that foam caused the failure? Then your heads really are filled with FOAM

  • two shuttles blow up...and i'm supposed to believe we went to the moon 7 times...yeah right

and we never went back..been 40 years almost

  • @ChiroQuacker What does the "never went back" (to the moon) have to do with your theory? If we had went back periodically then conspiracy theorists could point the finger at computer graphics more and more each year.

  • @aardvark9100

when the shuttle goes up and then orbits the earth it is no more then 400 miles above the earths surface...

it is a fact that nasa keeps it at this altitude so the shuttle does not come near the van allen radiation belts...on one of the shuttle missions the craft wandered above the 400 mile limit and the astronauts complained of feeling the radiation effects of being near the van allen belts...eye pain, etc...so nasa had them adjust their altitude so they orbited closer to earth

  • @ChiroQuacker

the lining of the shuttle walls for its cockpit is far more protective then the apollo cockpits were 40 years ago...and the apollo computers on board were primitive by todays standards...

the shuttle has to stay away from the van allen radiation belts due to its harmful effects on the astronauts...but...this posed NO PROBLEM for 7 apollo moon missions that flew thru them 14 times going to and back from the moon

and no apollo moon astronauts died early from cancer

    MOON HOAX !!!

  • @ChiroQuacker The van allen belts are no problem for a short exposure. The ISS passes through a van allen belt every day.

  • @CubesForAKid

thanks for this info..i will have to verify...then why did shuttle astros complain of the radiation effects from the belts on one of the missions and ground control had them lower their altitude...

i say "one" of the missions because i know for a fact it happened on one...it may have posed that problem on other missions as well

  • what goes up must come down. not sure what the fuss is it's not like those burning bit of material were the astronauts

  • thank you for the cover story aggie land Mcnair got ya roof 4 you, Sorry for the candy machines 05

  • @skeatesy1 What you said makes no sense. Exactly the same way? Why? What? When would new york ever need to attempt re-entry?

  • @skeatesy1 Hey GO Fuck Youself You Pussy Ass Terrorist..... YEA GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • @landship92 not cool -:(

  • Fake and gay

  • i agree with rd24128 .... wtf is the matter with that jerk saying such an awful thing... anyway, these astronauts train for years and years for their first space flight... its terrible that they got to that point, and died that way. or some would think that at least they died doing what they loved and lived for. either way, rest in peace Columbia.

  • Wow godhate ur An ass hole

  • Hey godhate, its dickheads like you that should be dropped into the re entry zone to burn the fuck up! RIP COLUMBIA

  • Sad, I heard today was the last shuttle out to space.

  • @navajovik Well you didn't listen properly. Last week was the last Endeavour flight, the last ever Space Shuttle Flight is scheduled for July in Atlantis.

  • @navajovik all the shuttles suffered metal fatigue and structural damage after years and years of service. Alloy bodies don't last for ever.

Italian engeneers were fired, the story went to the RAI news italian news: the columbia had cracks all over the place. but went in service anyhow.

Then some propaganda masters searched for an explanation to give at the public named FOAM

  • This video was also a key part of the investigation leaving no question what happened.

  • I admit that I don't know much about things like this but isn't that the same weapon system that is used in call of duty: MW 1&2?

  • I wonder what they where thinking when they realised it was going to explode. It's just so tragic what happen it almost makes me want to cry.

  • Transformers ! They are coming !

  • @landship92 Bad taste my friend.

  • @usaid56 Do you even know what a space shuttle is?

  • @jsscrwfrd I DOUBT it!

  • @usaid56

    Aircraft Columbia eh? FAIL

  • @usaid56 You're an IDIOT. Cheers!!

  • yeah get a weapons lock on it!

  • re-make of vid:

(some guy on highrise getting apache)

    hey wtf is that?

    aim at it

wooooo a space shuttle maybe an a easter egg?

    maybe...

    (shoots it)

(later that day on news there's what happened)

    oh shit...

(SWAT team kicks down his door)

  • I saw this from the ground where I lived. I was out running and noticed it, when I came back in my dad told me that the space shuttle had blown up or something. The CNN footage was exactly what I saw.

  • this was taken from an AC-130 jajaja

  • this was taken from an AC-130

  • Actually, did anyone see that UFO near the spacey knoll?

  • OMG, pilots are dutch... I think they didn't quite knew what they were filming at the time. it don't really sound like they were talking about the spaceshuttle (i'm dutch, so I can understand what they say...)

  • OMG AN APACHE GUNSHIP SHOT DOWN THE SHUTTLE. OMG GEORGE BUSH SHOT DOWN THE SHUTTLE. OMG WHERE ARE THE LOOSE CHANGE MORONS WHEN WE NEED THEM OMG

  • @nickcigich I heard from a ex FBI guy that they rigged it.

It wasn't friction going 15000+mph or 100000 gallons of jet fuel that caused structural failure, it was CONSPIRACAL PLAINTED EXPLOSIFS!!!!!!

  • @fredfinks Well 90% of the heat caused during reentry is from compression of air, not friction

  • the last three pieces you can see are the shuttles three main engines

  • Apache crew speaks Dutch, so presumably Royal Dutch Air Force on training or taking delivery of another AH64 in Mesa, AZ. They say they go to "setting 4" (presumably on the camera) to try & find out what they are filming. They're not aware that it's STS-107 breaking up, which explains why there is no emotion.

  • @4711rock

Ik dacht al dat die 'vreemde' taal bekend in de oren klonk.

  • @4711rock really the lack of emotion would be there even if they did know what was happening seeing as you would have had to maintain a professional attitude

  • @4711rock It's a Dutch Apache crew on training. They talk English to the tower en Dutch to each other. I think they don't know that a shuttle just explode and are curious what it can be. In Dutch they say -"zal eens kijken wat het hier is." Translation: "I take a look what this is." The next Dutch line is: "het vloog ergens tegenaan, toch?" Translation: "it hit something, isn'it?" And the last Dutch line: "zal ik het even op papier zetten?" Translation: "shall I write it down?" Ja! Yes!

  • sounds like the pilots are speaking Dutch. No emotion, nothing in their voices though. Weird.

  • @rockattack

    yes it is dutch

they didnt show emotions because they didnt really know what it was

you can hear them say: what's this?

  • Wow. This is really good footage.

  • wow thats crazy i live in central texas we actually found shuttle parts in our back yard

  • oh wow.. thats fast

  • the pilots are speaking dutch..... very strange

  • I removed 1 comments. Sorry. Didn't understand what was going on. "US Apache Helicopter crews were on a training mission with foreign pilots on the morning of February 1, 2003. Gun-camera footage picks up the ..."

  • Proof the apache shot it down...why else would it be targeting and why were they in that place at that time?

  • @stripes5150 They were watching it.

  • @stripes5150 The Apache could not have shot down the shuttle as it would have been out of range for that weapon system, also targeting an object traveling at hypersonic speed would be impossible short of using a powerful laser system or maybe rail gun. The shuttle enters the upper atmosphere faster than any weapon that helicopter might have had on board.

  • @23firestorm OMG are you serious? I was kidding...lol

  • @23firestorm You would think common sense would dictate that to people.

  • @stripes5150 There must be alien infested humans inside that's why they shot it down... ridiculous.

  • @Adrianbudiman they were reptilians...lol

  • @stripes5150 Your not so bright are you.

  • @VideoGameMaster007 brighter than you bitch!

  • @stripes5150 Sure what ever you say low life jackass

  • Those burning Debris, it's strangely beautiful yet so tragic at the same time...

  • Yes - those were Dutch Apache pilots

  • the computer keeps trying to get missile lock on the pieces

  • "US Crew" they say... So tell me, how come US crew speaks DUTCH on the radio.. Oh yeah, you US-guys think that everything is made in the US :)

  • @SilentServiceSweden

    Read the description dude...

"US Apache Helicopter crews were on a training mission with FOREIGN pilots on the morning of February 1, 2003."

  • @SilentServiceSweden

If you listen, you hear Americans on the gun tape.

  • Space Shuttle: An assemblage of a billion parts, all made by the lowest bidder.

  • @DeusVenator

    Quoting ModernWarfare...you're cool.

  • @DeusVenator

? You have no idea what you are talking about.

  • @DeusVenator kiss my ass the shuttle is the greatest single vehicle designed by man. 133 takeoffs and landings and only 2 accidents and one wasnt even a takeoff accident but rather a re-entry accident

  • @RokkerBoyy The greatest single vehicle designed by man? It doesn't even have a crew escape system FFS

  • @DeusVenator ALL of the components were the best that the human race had to offer at the time, no expense spared.

  • @DeusVenator As appealing as that is to the ear, it's simply not true.

  • Comment removed

  • dumbfucks, i mean, your fucking rocket scientists, you would figure that to get to that point you would rule out every fucking possibility BEFORE you sent them back to earth

  • Thats not an Apache or C-130 crew, the accident occurred at over 200,000 ft in elevation, way out of the range of any normal cameras. Plus Apache camera dont point straight up. This was probably take from either a NASA camera somewhere around the world or the voice have been dubbed in other languages.

  • @dogmandan79 200.000ft you say, sure, but the debris pieces made it all away to the ground. See the end of the footage. Those Apache pilots probably started filming about over a minute or 2 into the accident, at under 20.000ft I'd guess.

  • they are talking dutch!

  • @firestones18 yes I could have sworn I heard him say 'zoeken'

  • cool cooking with GAS !

  • The apache crew should shoot at the light hoping they would shoot the astronauts to end their sufferings right before they fell to die which they still have feelings and to end their scary feeling of falling down and die to just end it with the autocannon shots which would end their sufferings immediately.
