What a great job! I was ready to shut this vid down at the 3min mark if it wasn't going anywhere. You couldn't have paid me to think I would spend 8min of my life watching somebody draw necks and walk away a satisfied customer.

the best thing you can do is either draw from life, or look up human or anatomy in books, believe me you be amazed how much it improves your drwaing.

it is the rib cage, if you look at another one of scyra's videos about how to draw the human body, you'll get why he did that. Also in the other video he filled out the chest more but in this he was just doing the neck

Most all of them do, because you need to understand the musculature under the clothing! However, you can look for a book called 'Albinus on Anatomy', it takes a more medical approach, and likely doesn't have anything your parents would contest to. (Aside from muscles. Yum)
