as a pens fan, i have nothing but respect for jagr. he was one of the few bright spots for the franchise during some of its darkest days. i only he had parted ways with the pens on better terms. if he wanted to come back to the pens, there's no doubt in my mind he would be a great asset in winning another stanley cup.

Comparing their first 5 seasons in the NHL, Crosby's numbers dwarf Jagr's numbers.

Games: Jagr 359, Crosby 371

Goals per game: Jagr .44, Crosby .50

Assists per game: Jagr .65, Crosby .87

Points per game: Jagr 1.09, Crosby 1.37

Jags was great, but Sid has been better thus far.

@visne91 Crosby has accomplished so much already, proven so much skill at his young age. Comparing to Jagr - ok, in Jagr's PRIME? Crosby is quicker, has better stick handling. He's made insane trick shots that are comparable to no one. He can read plays better, he is capable of leading a team. And Crosby hasn't even reached his prime yet. I like Jagr, don't get me wrong, and while they're both very talented Crosby is just a legend in the making.
