Personally, i think Miley's VERSION is better, but i do think lauren is a BETTER SINGER. You guys' do have to remember she was just starting her carrer her and when Miley sang the song she had been in the music buisness for a while! Plus, the idols are given a limited time to perform, so i'm sure if they were given more time she'd do alot better!!

This song was done SO much better by Hollie Cavanaugh early in the season... it's amazing how talent is overlooked. I mean, yeah, Lauren is OK, but by no means comes near matching Hollie... Miley's unique voice is what made this song inspirational and full of hope and faith. I don't hate Lauren, I think she did awesome, its also true that her voice is really powerful. Both did well stop comparing its not like you can do better than Miley or Lauren. However, everything just wraps up with the phrase "Nothing beats the original". It's definitely true. This song was meant to be unique, pretty and beautiful, not just sheer power alone to begin with anyway.
