i completely believe you. i feel that what you caught on your camera those days were true mermaids and feel like mermaids need to be proven as scientific fact. i have read so many ship logs, books, and magazine articles that account about mermaids so why they havent been proven as scientific fact is COMPLETELY beyond me
us humans dont really know many things about the ocean so their are many creatures we dont know about yet! its true that i'm a mermaid believer but i think that humans must stay away from them and stop looking for logical explanation about them! hopefully mermaids will stay hidden for as long as they need to because we are danger to them!

They seem very fluid and are fast ! Take a look at their speed. And they do not appear as in "just" jumped into the water,they just appear like a wolf out of the woods, no bubbles of air, plus the dude says it was around 7 meters depth right? No human could just swim there at 7 m deep. Their hands and arms look weird... There are millions of worlds we don't know about. I think it's a beautiful thing knowing such amazing creatures exist. AND legends and stories don't come from nowhere.
K maybe mermaids have bones that r detached so they can swim better and it makes them look they have knees when they swim.. we can't possibly know they're anatomy maybe its possible to have knee like things. The second clip when he is filming from below as the mermaid swims above, what some people claim to be bending knees is actually two fishes swimming below the mermaid. At 3:30 is can be seen that two fishes are approaching the fin. At 3:35 the two fishes pass by, reflecting light and at the same time the waves causes a distortion, making it seem like it is knees bending.
@BADAXCOLDWARRIOR my previous comment was merely to stating a point. Assuming mermaids do exist, we wouldn't know if they have knee-like tendencies. Futhermore, I want to point out that when I wrote the comment, I have to admit I was bias in the view that mermaids exist. However, after further research, I don't think they are. Nevertheless, in any case, this video was very interesting. I want to believe they're real. Because that would've been utterly AWESOME.

While there are several realistic mermaid tails out on the market and many websites out there that say how to make them, I have to say that first video looks pretty real. The second is someone in a costume. It is easy to tell by the bending in the tails. The first actually curves where human ankles and feet would be - unusual. The second does not since it's a person in a fake tail and their legs can not curve naturally like a real tail. Could be an amputee in a special tail in the first though.
What is unusual to me about the video is that it definately is not a human because if you look closely it moves as if it has no skeletal structure. Are they making mermaids in Hollywood?

Look at how they swim! The tails are so thin! Costumes that can not be! But they both swim slightly different if you take a look, maybe there are other 'types' of mermaids. Or identities! And yes, real or fake, we can never know, but where else would these stories come from? I believe it, but evidence is scarce.

Then go down, notice how skinny that part is when it connects with the flipper thingy they have to swim? From watching this video over and over, I don't see how if it was a human in costume, how they made their legs so slinder and there is no bend where there 'feet" should be. It is very interesting and I think he may be on to something. I can't say these are people in costumes become the anatomy of the lower body is wrong for a human... Seems possible he actually caught something amazing on camera.
there's tails you can buy now where it actually has a mock spine towards the end of the fin, so that you can have a longer tail with a slimmer end and the fin is still supported. Looks like one of the tails I saw coming out of a factory, and seems more likely that he caught a glimpse of a person who thought they were on their own, and was practising with the tail. However, that's just pessimistic me, and I have an essay to write, so adieu :)
I believe in Mermaids, my dad has spotted one day before he came home , he stopped by the beach to look for stuff on the sand while he walks , he spotted one with an orange tail and long blonde hair but it swimmed so fast. My dad is a good dad and he has no reason to lie about what he saw, plus God can make anything and everything so who are we to doubt that he did create a mermaid. I am also a sailor and I know how big the ocean is and believe anything can exist down there.

I did some digging around about this video and found some important information to help decide if it's real;
The guy that claims to have filmed it is in the video making industry. From the looks of things he just films at weddings, but he's also won a competition with a short movie called 'water' that's here on his youtube channel. So it could be argued that this is fake as he makes movies, but could be as he claims; testing out a camera and accidently filming something. Which do YOU think?
The first part of the commentary made me lol a bit xD I choose to believe the footage is genuine. It could be a really strange shaped fish...Doesn't seem to have hair, and the "arms" could very well be fins. There don't seem to be elbows,e.g. at 2:29 the "arms" just dangle at the side and taper off at the ends like fins. Really curious what fish/shark/whatever creature would have such an elongated, thin tail though.
I believe this is real because; 1. Usually, when you look at mermaid related footage, it's completely evident that the tails are fake, even when the tail is done by experts. And if it does look real, then chances are it would be too heavy for anyone, no matter how powerful a swimmer, to swim so fluidly in it like what you see here. 2. The way the fin moves shows no sign of a monofin, and the way the tail bends is more fluid than fake ones bend. And 3. you see no bumps that limbs would leave.
most video's usually show someone in a costume but if you look really carefully at the creature it looks more realistic that anything i have ever watched

While there are several realistic mermaid tails out on the market and many websites out there that say how to make them, I have to say that first video looks pretty real. The second is someone in a costume. It is easy to tell by the bending in the tails. The first actually curves where human ankles and feet would be - unusual. The second does not since it's a person in a fake tail and their legs can not curve naturally like a real tail. Could be an amputee in a special tail in the first though.

well i believe this. Because humans need there arms to swim and these creatures did not. and the tail is to thin to be a costume. PLUS if this were a human, they would need an oxygen tank, flippers, and humans cant swim in the ocean that deep down with out an oxygen tank. I believe this is real.and the fish when the mermaid swam by them the fish did not swim away they didn't even notice the mermaid and humans just cant swim that fast without using there arms. Look at how they swim! The tails are so thin! Costumes that can not be! But they both swim slightly different if you take a look, maybe there are other 'types' of mermaids. Or identities! And yes, real or fake, we can never know, but where else would these stories come from? I believe it, but evidence is scarce.

Dudes this is real, if you watched the clip on the right and when the mermaid comes, check her tail when she swims up. Then go down, notice how skinny that part is when it connects with the flipper thingy they have to swim? Humans at that part are more thick and you can see it already but this one has a REALLY skinny one. PLUS! The clip on the left where the clip is normal not slow motion or such the mermaid swims fast. From watching this video over and over, I don't see how if it was a human in costume, how they made their legs so slinder and there is no bend where there 'feet" should be. It is very interesting and I think he may be on to something. I can't say these are people in costumes become the anatomy of the lower body is wrong for a human... Seems possible he actually caught something amazing on camera.

there's tails you can buy now where it actually has a mock spine towards the end of the fin, so that you can have a longer tail with a slimmer end and the fin is still supported. Looks like one of the tails I saw coming out of a factory, and seems more likely that he caught a glimpse of a person who thought they were on their own, and was practising with the tail. However, that's just pessimistic me, and I have an essay to write, so adieu :)

I believe in Mermaids, my dad has spotted one day before he came home , he stopped by the beach to look for stuff on the sand while he walks , he spotted one with an orange tail and long blonde hair but it swimmed so fast. My dad is a good dad and he has no reason to lie about what he saw, plus God can make anything and everything so who are we to doubt that he did create a mermaid. I am also a sailor and I know how big the ocean is and believe anything can exist down there.

I did some digging around about this video and found some important information to help decide if it's real;
The guy that claims to have filmed it is in the video making industry. From the looks of things he just films at weddings, but he's also won a competition with a short movie called 'water' that's here on his youtube channel. So it could be argued that this is fake as he makes movies, but could be as he claims; testing out a camera and accidently filming something. Which do YOU think?

The first part of the commentary made me lol a bit xD I choose to believe the footage is genuine. It could be a really strange shaped fish...Doesn't seem to have hair, and the "arms" could very well be fins. There don't seem to be elbows,e.g. at 2:29 the "arms" just dangle at the side and taper off at the ends like fins. Really curious what fish/shark/whatever creature would have such an elongated, thin tail though.

I believe this is real because; 1. Usually, when you look at mermaid related footage, it's completely evident that the tails are fake, even when the tail is done by experts. And if it does look real, then chances are it would be too heavy for anyone, no matter how powerful a swimmer, to swim so fluidly in it like what you see here. 2. The way the fin moves shows no sign of a monofin, and the way the tail bends is more fluid than fake ones bend. And 3. you see no bumps that limbs would leave.

You know, mermaids are not something that just simply 'evolved' on this planet. They are created by majik. By Gods. They are very hard to explain. If you go into ANY history of ANYWHERE in the world, you will find something about a man or woman seen as having a tail. I don't know. I don't really believe in mermaids but I do believe that anything can be out there and we, as people, should keep an open mind-- but you know, its hard to wrap your mind around. But if I did believe in mermaids, I would say that these are real because I have seen people in mermaid costumes before and they have to move their arms a lot and the tails on the mermaids in the video were very flexible and don't bend. But, hey, what do I know.
