I actually played this game all the way through with a couple of friends the other night. It was really intense and a lot of fun. It's really only an 8-hour game but I think there's a lot of replay value since I believe there's like 22 endings. It's not multiplayer but it's actually a lot of fun to play with other people because you alternate between 4 different characters.

And p.s. there's no raping of little boys in this game. The idea of the game is to catch the person who kills them, geez.

Love games with a good story. Just played through the precursor to Heavy Rain, Indigo Prophecy, and it was excellent. A bit more on the button mashing side of things, but I'm definitely going to play through it again just to make different choices and check how things pan out. *What if I didn't clean up all the blood in the bathroom?*

BTW Indigo prophecy is pretty cheep on steam. I'd recommend it for story.

I do hold story over gameplay, but I think a good mix of both is what can really create an awesome game. (I mean, look at FF games, Metal gear, Lost Odyssey etc. etc.) but I disagree with all of the people out now that states that stories were never the intention of video games, video games were just created in a way that anyone can just pick up and play. Well I mean, you play it for entertainment, we watch movies for entertainment don't we? So...either way: good story > gameplay

The game basically looks like Indigo Prophecy hopefully without the Indigo Prophecy syndrome (I.E Intro to ancient cults, compeltel abondenment of sublety and the chracters pulling superpowers out of their ass) But since it looks like a realistic game it doesn't look that way and since the Indigo Prophecy model looked really good to me, I think this game will too. Damn I don't have a PS3 though.
