you're absolutely right....It would have been fine if the other bands hadn't been there, and it was just Phish....oh, actually, Phish puts on festivals that size all the time....with over 80,000 people, there just to see Phish.....they must really blow....

actually i have seen them live and wasnt impressed. they do put on a good show but are really just another hippie jam band.

It's sad and surprising that people can't enjoy another genre of music. Bonnaroo is not the festival for you. The festival tries to create musical diversity.
I suggest you take the Light Sabre hidden in your closet, place it somewhere where you can spin on it and rotate next year to a Star Wars convention.
