How to install PLX Devices DM-200 OBDII 60mm Gauge

Just ordered $2400 worth of PLX gear. Ive installed a few bits but i wondered hoe you get your gauge to nt flivkrt snf reset when you crank the ignition.

I like it; Would be great in the a bar pillar. But, really expensive, and although easy to setup if you want a control box at your feet. You have ot get it wired up nice and that control box mounted someplace.

Also, don't like the fact you'd need 2 remotes. I think I'll wait until that's fixed.

FYI, this DM-100/200 does not operate the same as the rest of the DM-100/200s. PLX advertises that you can control multiple DM-100/200s with one remote control. Their manual says so too. However, the DM-100/200 with OBDII requires a separate remote. PLX refuses to clarify this in their advertising or in their product manuals so I'm posting this here. Hope this saves folks some time.

OBD-II wasn't full implemented in vehicles till 1996. While you might have a OBD-II connector, it may not be full functional.

Just curious about something. On the program part, can you take four options that you want to look at (like tach, speed, fuel, and eng. load) and put it all on one screen? If you can, then would it be possible to use this as a main gauge with the oem gauge too?

Where do you hide the ugly box and all the cables?
