  • Could anyone tell me if this is out on CD, thank you.

  • FLORRIE FORDE (16 August 1875 – 18 April 1940), born Flora May Augusta Flannagan, was an Australian popular singer and entertainer. She was one of the greatest stars of the early 20th century music hall.

MOLTO BELLO!!! Thank you for sharing this Wonderful video.

  • My father sang me this song at bedtime. He'd learnt it from his mother, who used - when she was young - to go to the Music Hall in Liverpool, and had remembered all the chorus songs. My sisters and I loved the reference to "lemon squash" and "gosh" which made it seem to us a very modern song (for the sixties...). Thanks for posting.

  • Wonderful song. Love Florrie Forde and the old Music Hall stars.
