Yeah they have 220 BHP standard instead of 197, and LSD as the 2 main one's, they are quite a bit different to the normal one in UK. The other major point is there insurance group 20, the standard type r is 17, makes a big difference if your youngish.

There awesome cars.

Oh and the redline is higher i think it's 8600, instead of 8250, VTEC is 5800-8250 on normal Type R.

Thanks mate - yes it was sold new in Japan and built in England. The model for the "JDM" has more power than the one sold in the UK although both are built in the same factory in the UK and are very similar
