There were 5 pits going on at the same time on the floor...when they go into the "DIE" sing along part, the sound of a sold-out Giants stadium was louder than life and forever changed me. Unfortunately this camera angle sucks and it really doesnt capture just how loud this show was lol

I went to this tour but in Los Angeles, when Metallica came on, chairs on the floor were flying everywhere. All kinds of people were getting whacked! A lot of blood was spilled, I almost got pounded twice! This was back when Metallica was hell bent on world domination! Fuck, I miss these days when they sounded so fucking brutal!

creeping death was always the open air/festival opener. this gig is from the monsters of rock tour (summer 1988), which they supported. blackened was used from september 1988 all through the damaged justice headlining tour.
