This may be true or not , I don't know. I am from Hydra island and there we had many Arvanites. As for the sufix -lis and -os, I have to remind you that there were many names in Ancient Greece ending like that. ex. Periclis (Pericle), Sofoclis (Sofocle), Alexandros (Alexander) Omiros (Homer), so it may actually being Greek after all. Now that some Greek last names are Turkish, this is correct and is normal to be like that if you consider that Turks were in Greece for 500 years.
