  • liked both videos, visited the town, the weather was great, had fabulous curry, and the leas and the gardens at the bottom were excellent, sadly what spoilt it for me was talking to the locals, my daughter being offered "drugs" by a Iraqi or Afghan youth and having my car broken into by a group of immigrants near the harbour!

  • @factorialpython

thanks for your comments and I am truly saddened your day was spoilt by other visitors to the Town.

The harbour is the last part of the Town due for redevelopment in the next year and will hopefully improve as a result. Your comments will be passed on.

    Best regards

    CJ

  • @cjb12121 surprised to get a reply, thank you, my family thought folkestone could offer more and had(has) huge potential Best of luck to you and all your friends in you endeavors. my observation are that folkestone has now "aim" dwelling, like so many other towns on its past, Folkestone needs to have pride in its self, to become a niche town leaning more towards the luxury market, those with disposable income whom wish to "play"

  • @factorialpython

your interest in the Town is most welcome. Be assured your experience has been flagged to those who do care.

    Regards

  • @297250142

    Thanks,

Had I thought i should have kept back the pt1 version for a week to include the festival, but it was a worthwhile venue on its own account. Some really good acts on the day. Folkestone is not boring.. only boring people get bored !!

    Cheers

    CJ

  • Another brilliant job Colin, with mega fast turnaround considering you were filming on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

    Many thanks

    Chris

  • @ChrisKirkham

  • Brilliant vid Colin, I saw some of these acts but missed some too - so your vid has filled in some of the gaps
