@Nahlaqueen So what? If they can afford designer clothes, good for them. If they want to buy a Porsche instead of a Renault, that's good for them. If they are able to afford expensive clothes, good for them. Designers are creative artists as well, who want to express their creativity. There is also a business side of design, but the same happens to all ways of artistic expression.
