Hey,weren't most of this band previously the Jazzateers? i'm sure a version of this is on their album for Rough Trade and on the Marina label compilation that came out a few years back.I believe there is an unreleased Bourgie Bourgie album in the vaults somewhere !
the link from agent cooper confirms this. Jazzateers did indeed release a single in 1983 called Show Me The Door. It was on Rough Trade with catalogue number RT138.
The vocalist on Jazzteers version was Grahame Skinner, who went on to find fame as the singer with Hipsway.

I'm almost certain that this was called 'Show Me The Door' from a hazy recollection of a demo tape that a former flatmate had.
This is brilliant. Where did you originally tape it from?? And thanks for Breaking Point from The Tube that you recently posted.
