jamaicans didn't find sierra leone fools they just returned back home and most of the slaves came from west africa especially sierra leone and the countrie's name was founded by Portuguese explorers who was looking up at the mountains from the harbor shores the Portuguese explorers thought the mountains looked like lions so they named the country sierra leone which means mountain lion.
