The radio stations where I lived didn't understand the song. It's like they didn't even listen to it before playing it and then didn't listen to it while they played it and commented on it. It was played once on 106.5 WEND in Charlotte and the two afternoon drive-time DJs just made stupid jokes and said "oh we're never playing this again"

and they didn't. It's a surprisingly uplifting piece if you listen to the whole thing but most people can't be bothered to pay attention.
