  • I love this song

  • ...I once dreamed, I was in heaven..the sky was a perfect blue, the trees, grass was a perfect green...the mountains were so perfect in detail and color..man, I can't wait to go there...but I'm "still stuck here on the ground.." (Early Morning Rain, Gordon Lightfoot)...trying to figure out my purpose, in life, here on earth..

  • Each word of this hymn has great depth of meaning. It gives the most wonderful sense of peace and assurance of God's love.

  • Beautiful

  • Thank you.

  • @RainbowLoves0204 that's all very fine, but maybe the non Christians are tired of hearing about it. And tired of hearing about all the Muslums............... and everything else that everyone cramms down your throat. Oh and don't let me forget to mention that we are ALL EARTHLINGS ON THIS PLANET !! • I have always admired the humility & modesty of the Mennonites for the way in which they live their faith day by day. While pride is not a virtue for man, the Lord must surely be proud of these disciples of His who try steadfastly to live the Word while others merely talk the talk.

  • This Swedish hymn is often played at funerals here in Sweden, also so at my mother's and father's funeral. Tears fell, but this hymn gives confidence in my heart that we shall reunite and never to be parted again.

  • Some Mennonites from Indianna that were feeding folks after Hurricane Rita in Vidor, Texas gave me a CD with this one on it. It is a gift of rare value. They have remained in my thoughts and prayers these last few years. Their food was much appreciated and gratefully accepted. God Bless them.

At the age of 26, she went with her father Jonas Sandell, a Lutheran pastor of the Lutheran church in Fröderyd on a boat trip across Lake Vättern to Göteborg, during which he fell overboard and drowned before her eyes.
