I was 10 years old when I saw this in the theatre. When Arnold said "No chance.", a black guy sitting behind me yelled at the screen "Yeah! That's right! You tell 'em!" LMAO
@historyofking According to wikipedia the singer is Michael Des Barres I guess I can't post a link but you can search there for both his name and the band power station
I swear you can add this song to the ending of any movie and it would kick ass. Especially movies that end so abruptly, at least that way we get a comedic kick out of it. Like put this song at the end of "No Country for Old Men" someone should totally do that! No one would get it but it would be funny to all of us "Commando" fans. Hahaha.
There goes a family man right there, looks at his daughter, looks at hot chick that would bring stability in his life, Looks back at colonel, NO CHANCE, priceless and classic 80s. Must own this on BlueRay
@funthings432 They could rename this film 'Arnold Schwarzenegger' and it would make no difference because it's essentially just a film that shows him at his best with all his classic trademarks! The 80s ruled, Arnold the God of action and this Film is one of the all time gems of American cinema!!!
thanks!

I don't think this movie could have worked any other way.
1. No other actor could have played the role of John Matrix because it wasn't an acting role - it was a muscle film.
2. The movie was solidly an 80s film with death and action but didn't focus on gore.
3. The one-liners were classic arnold
4. The awesome 80s music
Commando came at the right time and had the right cast for everyone. 5 stars even though it probably got offically rated much less:)
