I agree with the top comments..I like metal but it's good that Marty moved out for I like his solos without the context megadeth songs.. He alone can be free in making any kind of music and make us listeners satisfied. Bad Dna and Tokyo Jukebox 1,2 are my favorites.

i have a great repect for marty,he's an awesome player and really knows how to give emotions with his playing...on of my favourites styles...in fact dave fired him just because marty was tired to play megadeth stuff,he did not even come to the last gig of risk tour:)..that's why...i think that to dave it has had to be very bad to fire such a great player...

He's living his dream, in the Dave Mustaine biography, Dave said Marty's dream was to play live in Budokan, but they had to cancel that because Megadeth had to cancel a tour cus Dave Eleffson had to go to rehab. So they ruined Marty's dream but now hes reliving it! Idk if this is in Budokan tho.

I love how people say Marty is wasting his talent. If you think shredding like crazy and playing metal is what it means to be a great guitar player, you are sorely mistaken. This is great, Marty's mind just evolved; something similar happened to me, being a long-time metalhead I decided to explore new stuff and was finally captivated by all this Asian stuff. Some of it's artists are pretty awesome, Marty explained himself how much talent it requieres to write a good pop song, and that several heavy metal songs's estructures can actually be found in this kinda music.

Also, Mika Nakashima is a 10/10, Marty did a good job on this.
