Respond to this video... @7dayspiking Yes I agree that rugby athletes are more complete, however I am referring to raw strength, speed and athleticism. The players in the NFL are there because they are making so much more money than rugby has to offer. If those players were taught when they were young to play rugby they would rape everybody. I love rugby so much more than football that it is not even funny, I am just telling you guys that there are freak athletes here.
@DirtyJohnsons I agree with you except when you said the best athletes are in the NFL. The rugby players are by far the most complete athletes. For example even a prop or hooker in actual rugby need to be fast, talented and of course, strong. And the wings and centres need to be strong this days too. If you watch a rugby game this days you can see the intensity and quickness that this game is played with.
That's a big hit okay. Happens to the best and worst in the game. Someone's wondering whether Kenya has a rugby team. Well it does a pretty damn good one. Better than so many even the USA that they were playing against check your sources or statistics okay. Mind you the players are nor pros, they juggle between either school or jobs.
@ironintel - what a tosser; yet you're from Belgian and are commenting on rugby, as if you'd know anything about it. Stick to chocolate and Poirot. Anyone who plays rugby at that level and takes a hit like that and can still move deserves respect, and much more than an internet warrior like you will ever get.
@CssAfc that guyy got flattened. and hi face is priceless. he's all like "...the fuck? where's my ball?? and why does this whole side of my body feel numb? WHAT HAPPENED?!" XDDD
Like I've said on other rugby videos fuck the NFL they ruined americas sports....why does it take 3 hours or more to play a game that should only be 1 hour.....cause its become to commercialized at least rugby u get all the good action and more and it runs on a continuous clock. America wake up football is boring and Rugby is the way to go.
@Dkelly160 a game of nfl actualy goes for 30mintues of play thats excluding the timeouts and billions of adds nowonder americans are fat they have to wait for the adds to come off and the sport to come on nfl dosent even have decent hits and there so scared to get hurt they wear pads?
@7dayspking im actually an American i just cant stand the NFL i think it has shat all over the sports world, id much rather watch hockey or personally baseball although i know a lot people don't understand that sport either
@gettindickered they do not need breaks. Football players are the most conditioned athletes on the planet. the nature of the game to is have a break to call a play. and if you took the best Football players and formed a rugby team, they would beat alot of professional rugby teams.
@ptouhey hahahahahahahha cool story bro they may be conditioned but you're players at the line of scrumage or a bunch of fat fucks with no speed or agility compare them to props and they're out classed easily no american foot ball player has the endurance of a rugby league player
@Willard142 it was a cool story wasn't it? that's why i told it. and *scrimmage you ignoramous.
/watch?v=ufkHymQEuqc - yea man, no speed.... cool story bro.
/watch?v=wJQSJVFCXe0&feature=related - and no agility, my goodness, another cool story..
/watch?v=q3XR13whE4s - boy, and you know, i just wish they had endurance like players who walk or jog much more than half the game and give themselves unnecessary breaks.
and if you don't mind me riding your dick, those were 3 really cool stories,
@Willard142 I love rugby, but you're wrong about linemen in the NFL. There are a lot of big guys who run sub 5 second 40-meter times.. And I mean, BIG guys. Johnathon Ogden is 6'7 360 pounds and he ran sub 5s in his prime.. My old high school coach is 6'3 340.. When he played in the NFL, he ran like a 4.6 40.. I didn't believe it until I saw him outrun one of our backs at practice.
@syzygy502 on second thought fuck you....keep your pads, time outs, and other delay tactics to yourself. Ill stick with a real sport if you don't mind.
@Dkelly160 football isnt boring, neither is rugby...neither is soccer...its all different sports, there all played different with different rules...so stop comparing and just enjoy what u like and shut the fuck up about the ones you dont like :)
@Dkelly160 too bad this sport is too stupid for anyone with half a brain to watch, just look at these garbage tackles in the suggestions, tallis' famous tackle? if that shit is famous i dont want to see regular tackles, the fact that you can grab someone by their collar and drag them around is fucking retarded, hence why there are rules against it in a real sport like football, im guessing you also complain about ads on youtube...its fucking television, there are ADVERTISEMENTS, that wont change
@spartan934 Buddy your and idiot you cant jersey tackle in rugby there is rules ive played both football and rugby I can say that rugby is a much more demanding and fun sports. the hits in rugby might not look as big but i would love to see you try and hit a guy with no pads on half as hard as this guy in the vid
@Kmacsportsfan8 your lying already, just look in the suggestions beside the video and find "Gorden Tallis' famous tackle" the guy drags another player across the field by his collar, and if that is famous, thats pretty bad
@Kmacsportsfan8 yea but those are illegal and considered cheap shots not "famous" my point wasnt that it was dirty, it was that its a pussy move when you have to pull someone along by their shirt instead of hitting them like a man
@spartan934 haha fucking hater, you're probably mad cuz you're too fat to play rugby and you stick to football cuz you run for 10 seconds, and take a 5 minute break.
@GreezyN199a actually im a 5'10 150 lb Gr.11 Canadian WR with a chance for a scholarship to the states to play college ball, so while im going through school without paying a dime, you can continue sitting on the internet, telling people "u mad bro?" have a nice life
@spartan934 haha suuuure, what ever makes you sleep at night. What i don't understand is why you physically looked up a rugby video just to talk shit about a game you've never payed. I guarantee if you came and played for our U17's, that you would be on your ass. I like rugby better than football, but you don't see me going around talking shit. So you can stfu cuz you need to play a game of rugby before you understand.
@GreezyN199a first off, this was in the suggestion video for a football video, so i didnt "physically look it up" secondly, one of your little rugby butt-buddies was talking shit about the NFL for no reason and even admitted going to other videos just to talk shit, so i replied, and i've given and taken more than my fair share of hits. so stop being so hypocritical, I can't talk shit about a game i've never played, but you can talk shit about a person you've never met?
@spartan934 You don't think i set straight people who were talking shit about football either. I like football, i play on my school tam, but not nearly as much as rugby. Just because one dickhead starts talking shit about the NFL, doesn't mean you should go around rugby videos talking shit. You take one video and judge the whole sport based on that. You know football is not even known, let alone popular in other countries. And all im doing is defending a sport i love so gtfo.
@GreezyN199a who said i was going around rugby videos talking shit. the only time ill ever comment on a rugby video is if i see some ignorant douche talking about other sports, this seems to be what you dont understand, i dont hate rugby, but if someone is going to talk about the sports i play then im going to talk about the sports they play, whether i've played them or not, football doesnt have to be known or popular in other countries to be great.
@AintWeWack its better to tackle below the waist coz u cant always body tackle (above waist) if there stronger bigger guys, so wrapping there lets up makes it alot easier to tackle.
@AintWeWack yea, i do it alot, i mean today i picked someone up and near on body slammed them, its fine, aslong as you stay below the sholders, but if you been taught to tackle the legs then great, because alot of players my age make the mistake of body tackling alot strong, bigger guys, but if you go for there lets... they cant run
@conzornor haha you sound liek a league player just wrap the legs and they wont move i'd like to see an internation player bare hug someone like stepen ferris or willen alberts hahah if they missed with they shoulder then they would get spun around if they hit with the sholder in a bare hug situiation they would get raped you have to put the foot of the tackling sholder forward dip your sholder and drive your sholder into their ribs or above the hips hard then small steps drive them back
@7dayspking But if you have a prop running at you full spead (gentle jog) and you've just dropped back for a penalty then tackling like that will be abit hard when there 14stone + and you 11- , so in a situation like that you would wrap around there legs, but smaller/lighter players, you can do a good dump tackle to
@conzornor i don't agree lol to make it pro a prop would not be slow... and i disgree wrap your arms and you ill be spun around and flung off you need to start ith that sholder contact
@7dayspking cheek to cheek, eye to thigh, bands of steel, use your shoulder to bowl them over. Your both right, you have to wrap your arms and use your shoulder. a lot of missed tackles in pro rugby are caused by backs going high on big back rowers
@oxgee sorry mate im from nz to played npc so i think i no mate the rule is shoulders up but since the refs r whistle blowers and like to run the game they will penalise you for even hitting under the chest
@oxgee just look up wesley college npc players and choose 1 i aint putting my name on mate i went there when Koula Tukino, hale tuhoko, casey laulala, seilala mapasua, george stowers, tame tupou and mark price were there
@parsnip1231 where do you think new zealand and aussie got their polys from? next to new zealand america has the most Samoans and Tongans over there not to mention the black dudes who are just as fast as Fijians
@chihuahua664 Does it really matter on how a try (with a possible converted conversion to follow) is described? Most people will acknowledge when hearing '7 pointer' the commentator means a try. It's just to mix the listener's experience and lingo up. Even English commentators will relate a try or pentaly to how many points are for the taking. For example, the team will take the 3 points instead of 'take the penalty'. They all mean the same thing...
im a rugby fan best sport league and union and poly boys are probly the best big hitters but american nfl players are fukin huge man no answer the rugby league and union boys would give it a crack but the truth is there is no way they could smash a line baker or those offensive and defensive lines they could smash all them outside defenders and offensive QB and runnin bak tho
man you gotta realize that any NFL athlete would shit on the top rugby player... i love rugby.. but lets be realistic.. every NFL linebacker is just as big and probably faster then jona lomu.. so stop hating the states... within the next 25 years your will see the US on top of the sport.. so enjoy it while it last
@dialedbikes You cant compare rugby to nfl in any way shape or form.. One goes on for 80 mins with short breaks of about 1 min for lineouts, scrums or penalties etc the other is stop start every 3-4 minutes..
As for USA dominating the sport I doubt it rugby isnt popular there and all the suposid guys who can play rugby better than pro rugby players will go NFL for the money..
@dialedbikes dude you can't underestimate how tough some of the best rugby players are, the hardest hitting athletes in any sport are (in my opinion) the polynesians, look up brian lima, jerry collins, ma'a nonu, and fui fui moi moi to get a little taster
@dialedbikes Erm, nice sentiment, but I don't see the US ever being top of the rugby world rankings. I think they're definately improving and will eventually have a large pool of players to choose from, but it's not just down to that. The players the likes of England or France have to choose from dwarves the likes of that of New Zealand and yet, over the last 105 years, they have a 75% win rate. It has to become ingrained in your culture. In the US it'll always be gridiron, I think.
@magnificentmadkent Fuck off are they. Americans are fat stupid cunts that are pussies and need pads to play a sport. America cant play rugby for shit
@sullmister i dont give a fuck about americans they are a bunch of shit cunts. im aussie. im just shit stirring you mate haha english are good at sport, ashes this year though hahaha.
@UrsinhoNick yea but thats ONE pass out of soooo many. it doesnt matter if you think they look terrible. like i just said. they in the top 5 or so in the world. they are bloody good.
love the video being a yank i never have been exposed to rugby but there acually a team by were i live and started following it for about a month watching all the games i can.... i starting to love this game just wish it was bigger in the US so i can watch it without getting Direct TV
@stonetravis78 rugby and football are totally different, my uncle has played both and rugby is much more of an endurance sport while football is short bursts of overwhelming power, and everyone on the field gets blindsided at LEAST once a game which is why they wear pads.
@0oYOUSLAGo0 Never heard of Dan Lyle?. Wouldn't make it in the NFL, no rugby experience (2 seasons playing in Virginia), goes to play for Bath, England. After his first Premiership match, is declared "best flanker in the world" by London Times, Gets Newcomer of the Year Award, is in the top 5 candidates for Player of the Year at the end of his first season. Not bad for someone with only 2 seasons of club rugby experience, in America no less. Rugby isn't held in high enough regard here yet
finally some americans who can play the game! I love doing big hits like these but im no blindside flanker,..just a no.8 but the game i played a few weeks back i got smashed by a blindside flanker..

Dkelly160 11 months ago 49
@Dkelly160 a game of nfl actualy goes for 30mintues of play thats excluding the timeouts and billions of adds nowonder americans are fat they have to wait for the adds to come off and the sport to come on nfl dosent even have decent hits and there so scared to get hurt they wear pads?
7dayspking 11 months ago
@7dayspking im actually an American i just cant stand the NFL i think it has shat all over the sports world, id much rather watch hockey or personally baseball although i know a lot people don't understand that sport either
Dkelly160 11 months ago
@Dkelly160 ye and the actual time that the ball is actually in play is only like 10 minutes each game
MegaPongy 8 months ago
@MegaPongy Ya it was proven that you spend 3 hours watching the game (most of which is commercials) and only 10 minutes of actual game play
Dkelly160 8 months ago
@Dkelly160 plus they dont have the cardio to keep it moving for an hour straight, they need breaks.
gettindickered 8 months ago
@gettindickered they do not need breaks. Football players are the most conditioned athletes on the planet. the nature of the game to is have a break to call a play. and if you took the best Football players and formed a rugby team, they would beat alot of professional rugby teams.
ptouhey 7 months ago
@ptouhey hahahahahahahha cool story bro they may be conditioned but you're players at the line of scrumage or a bunch of fat fucks with no speed or agility compare them to props and they're out classed easily no american foot ball player has the endurance of a rugby league player
Willard142 5 months ago
@Willard142 it was a cool story wasn't it? that's why i told it. and *scrimmage you ignoramous.
/watch?v=ufkHymQEuqc - yea man, no speed.... cool story bro.
/watch?v=wJQSJVFCXe0&feature=related - and no agility, my goodness, another cool story..
/watch?v=q3XR13whE4s - boy, and you know, i just wish they had endurance like players who walk or jog much more than half the game and give themselves unnecessary breaks.
and if you don't mind me riding your dick, those were 3 really cool stories,
bro.
ptouhey 5 months ago
@Willard142 I love rugby, but you're wrong about linemen in the NFL. There are a lot of big guys who run sub 5 second 40-meter times.. And I mean, BIG guys. Johnathon Ogden is 6'7 360 pounds and he ran sub 5s in his prime.. My old high school coach is 6'3 340.. When he played in the NFL, he ran like a 4.6 40.. I didn't believe it until I saw him outrun one of our backs at practice.

shiron236 5 months ago
@Dkelly160 football isnt boring, neither is rugby...neither is soccer...its all different sports, there all played different with different rules...so stop comparing and just enjoy what u like and shut the fuck up about the ones you dont like :)
TeflonDon204 4 months ago
@Dkelly160 too bad this sport is too stupid for anyone with half a brain to watch, just look at these garbage tackles in the suggestions, tallis' famous tackle? if that shit is famous i dont want to see regular tackles, the fact that you can grab someone by their collar and drag them around is fucking retarded, hence why there are rules against it in a real sport like football, im guessing you also complain about ads on youtube...its fucking television, there are ADVERTISEMENTS, that wont change
spartan934 4 months ago
@spartan934 Buddy your and idiot you cant jersey tackle in rugby there is rules ive played both football and rugby I can say that rugby is a much more demanding and fun sports. the hits in rugby might not look as big but i would love to see you try and hit a guy with no pads on half as hard as this guy in the vid
Kmacsportsfan8 4 months ago
@Kmacsportsfan8 your lying already, just look in the suggestions beside the video and find "Gorden Tallis' famous tackle" the guy drags another player across the field by his collar, and if that is famous, thats pretty bad
spartan934 4 months ago
@spartan934 look at some of the hits in the nfl with the helmet on helmet tthey are way worse than a jersey tackle
Kmacsportsfan8 4 months ago
@Kmacsportsfan8 yea but those are illegal and considered cheap shots not "famous" my point wasnt that it was dirty, it was that its a pussy move when you have to pull someone along by their shirt instead of hitting them like a man
spartan934 4 months ago
@spartan934 haha fucking hater, you're probably mad cuz you're too fat to play rugby and you stick to football cuz you run for 10 seconds, and take a 5 minute break.
GreezyN199a 3 months ago
@GreezyN199a actually im a 5'10 150 lb Gr.11 Canadian WR with a chance for a scholarship to the states to play college ball, so while im going through school without paying a dime, you can continue sitting on the internet, telling people "u mad bro?" have a nice life
spartan934 3 months ago
@spartan934 haha suuuure, what ever makes you sleep at night. What i don't understand is why you physically looked up a rugby video just to talk shit about a game you've never payed. I guarantee if you came and played for our U17's, that you would be on your ass. I like rugby better than football, but you don't see me going around talking shit. So you can stfu cuz you need to play a game of rugby before you understand.
GreezyN199a 3 months ago
@GreezyN199a first off, this was in the suggestion video for a football video, so i didnt "physically look it up" secondly, one of your little rugby butt-buddies was talking shit about the NFL for no reason and even admitted going to other videos just to talk shit, so i replied, and i've given and taken more than my fair share of hits. so stop being so hypocritical, I can't talk shit about a game i've never played, but you can talk shit about a person you've never met?
spartan934 3 months ago
@spartan934 You don't think i set straight people who were talking shit about football either. I like football, i play on my school tam, but not nearly as much as rugby. Just because one dickhead starts talking shit about the NFL, doesn't mean you should go around rugby videos talking shit. You take one video and judge the whole sport based on that. You know football is not even known, let alone popular in other countries. And all im doing is defending a sport i love so gtfo.
GreezyN199a 3 months ago
@GreezyN199a who said i was going around rugby videos talking shit. the only time ill ever comment on a rugby video is if i see some ignorant douche talking about other sports, this seems to be what you dont understand, i dont hate rugby, but if someone is going to talk about the sports i play then im going to talk about the sports they play, whether i've played them or not, football doesnt have to be known or popular in other countries to be great.

@AintWeWack i do play for west devon on my age group? your alloud to takcle anywhere from sholders down
conzornor 1 year ago
@conzornor from what ive been taught its waist and below? :\
AintWeWack 1 year ago
@AintWeWack its better to tackle below the waist coz u cant always body tackle (above waist) if there stronger bigger guys, so wrapping there lets up makes it alot easier to tackle.
conzornor 1 year ago
@conzornor oh ok, so you can bodytackle?
AintWeWack 1 year ago
@AintWeWack yea, i do it alot, i mean today i picked someone up and near on body slammed them, its fine, aslong as you stay below the sholders, but if you been taught to tackle the legs then great, because alot of players my age make the mistake of body tackling alot strong, bigger guys, but if you go for there lets... they cant run
conzornor 1 year ago
@conzornor oh right, cheers for that learnt something new today :P
AintWeWack 1 year ago
@conzornor haha you sound liek a league player just wrap the legs and they wont move i'd like to see an internation player bare hug someone like stepen ferris or willen alberts hahah if they missed with they shoulder then they would get spun around if they hit with the sholder in a bare hug situiation they would get raped you have to put the foot of the tackling sholder forward dip your sholder and drive your sholder into their ribs or above the hips hard then small steps drive them back
7dayspking 11 months ago
@7dayspking But if you have a prop running at you full spead (gentle jog) and you've just dropped back for a penalty then tackling like that will be abit hard when there 14stone + and you 11- , so in a situation like that you would wrap around there legs, but smaller/lighter players, you can do a good dump tackle to
conzornor 11 months ago
@conzornor i don't agree lol to make it pro a prop would not be slow... and i disgree wrap your arms and you ill be spun around and flung off you need to start ith that sholder contact
7dayspking 11 months ago
@7dayspking cheek to cheek, eye to thigh, bands of steel, use your shoulder to bowl them over. Your both right, you have to wrap your arms and use your shoulder. a lot of missed tackles in pro rugby are caused by backs going high on big back rowers

Docs901 4 months ago
@chihuahua664 Does it really matter on how a try (with a possible converted conversion to follow) is described? Most people will acknowledge when hearing '7 pointer' the commentator means a try. It's just to mix the listener's experience and lingo up. Even English commentators will relate a try or pentaly to how many points are for the taking. For example, the team will take the 3 points instead of 'take the penalty'. They all mean the same thing...
Docs901 4 months ago
im a rugby fan best sport league and union and poly boys are probly the best big hitters but american nfl players are fukin huge man no answer the rugby league and union boys would give it a crack but the truth is there is no way they could smash a line baker or those offensive and defensive lines they could smash all them outside defenders and offensive QB and runnin bak tho

your right.. the lineman wouldnt be able to handle the pace but anyone else on the field could.. and rugby is the fastest growing sport in the US
dialedbikes 1 year ago
man you gotta realize that any NFL athlete would shit on the top rugby player... i love rugby.. but lets be realistic.. every NFL linebacker is just as big and probably faster then jona lomu.. so stop hating the states... within the next 25 years your will see the US on top of the sport.. so enjoy it while it last
dialedbikes 1 year ago
@dialedbikes You cant compare rugby to nfl in any way shape or form.. One goes on for 80 mins with short breaks of about 1 min for lineouts, scrums or penalties etc the other is stop start every 3-4 minutes..
As for USA dominating the sport I doubt it rugby isnt popular there and all the suposid guys who can play rugby better than pro rugby players will go NFL for the money..
TrueSlawter 1 year ago
@dialedbikes dude you can't underestimate how tough some of the best rugby players are, the hardest hitting athletes in any sport are (in my opinion) the polynesians, look up brian lima, jerry collins, ma'a nonu, and fui fui moi moi to get a little taster
tdavies456 1 year ago
@dialedbikes id like to see any NFL player stop Jona Lomu without there pussy little pads
flipoutCA 1 year ago
@dialedbikes Erm, nice sentiment, but I don't see the US ever being top of the rugby world rankings. I think they're definately improving and will eventually have a large pool of players to choose from, but it's not just down to that. The players the likes of England or France have to choose from dwarves the likes of that of New Zealand and yet, over the last 105 years, they have a 75% win rate. It has to become ingrained in your culture. In the US it'll always be gridiron, I think.
