  • Best live band ever, period! No exceptions.

  • well Tom is in street sweaper social club so there is no new album on the way.

  • check out King & Pharaoh interviewing the people of Lollapalooza 2009. the preview is up!

  • RATM is one of the greatest band in the world, bottom line.

    Audioslave is another thing.

Note : Audioslave is going to make a new album... :D

  • Really? That's awesome if it's true

  • i think they're not, but how do you know?

  • why did i miss this????

  • Too bad they broke up when America needed them most, during the Bush era. I love the band, but I I'm not sure how relevant they are now.

They missed out, and the world missed out on what should have been their peak 8 year run.

  • i agree.

  • they fukin good thats all that metter

  • I agree but they're relevant today cause no matter what people say theres always a problem and bands like System, Rage, & Rise Against spread the message and I think thats something that everyone no matter who weather its the preseident or just some dude working on minumum wage needs the truth

  • I think they should come out with a new album... but i think the album Rage Against the Machine.. was the band at their best, but i also like Battle of Los Angles

  • who's that playing bass?

  • Y Tim K. haha Tim Cummerford? do you even know rage?

  • chill out pal, couse I do, I just don't know everybody's names?!

  • dont worry man, neither does rickyfatty....its tim commerford not cummerford haha

  • He sounded really tired when Sleep Now In the Fire came around...

Maybe I just wasa bit off, but still...

Now that I see the vid, Zack looked kinda tired, but still sang it out hehe

  • twas an excellent show.

  • your probably an ugly beotch

  • he looks so happy while singing it lol could this be the beginning of the revival?

  • What Channel do they play all these concerts??

  • not a channel, its a concert that ud have to be there in order to truely appreciate! kick ass though id go again if they went next year.

  • i was there

  • I hope Zak has got more than one red short sleeved shirt as he wore the same one for Reading and Leeds festival this august.

Is he like einstein, he only had one style of outfit but 7 sets of it for a week?

  • He must have a whole wardrobe full of red shirts.

  • Why are they so damn mellow now on stage? I think the rage left the machine....

  • are you serious they were no where near mellow

it was one of the most energetic shows ive ever seen

  • totally

  • Were you there? Because if you were... you would have seen the exact opposite...

  • they were far from mellow bro

  • They are not mellow at all man. If you go to a show, you will feel the energy, and it's all there!!

  • why do u hate me

  • cause im mad JEALOUS!!!

  • well thats not a cool way 2 show it but whatever this was the best concert ever

  • the battle of los angelos and renegades were their last cds, neither of them are new

  • its not very new but their newest is renegades

  • you are probably thinkin of "one day as a lion" its zach de la rochas side project

  • is the album of "the battle of los angeles" Made in 1999

  • yup

  • if you love tom morello solos watch my video

  • I was in the front row of that concert suck on that.

  • i hate you......

  • why do u hate me huh

  • fuck yeah!!! i got tickets when they come to minneapolis in a month

  • they have no more tour dates left in north america dude.... or so their website says.

  • where and when?

  • fuck yeah bitch I got floor seats to the target center

  • yea, same here man! I got floor seats to the target center too. Right at 10am Central time I got 2 tickets on ticketmaster. 3 minutes later i checked and GA was sold out and upper level was my next available option...

  • Oh yea, I want the best seats possible. How many hours before 7:30 do you think i should get there? 6 or 7 hours?

  • He's def just maturing. It was incredible and totally rocked me when he referred to all of us as brothers and sisters. That we need to take care of each other that night.

  • great show, i remember zack kept saying: "alright my bros and sis please take 5 or 10 steps back!"

  • I'm listening to him singing, and it sounds like his style has seriously changed. Gone from semi hard rap to... sumthing else... anybody else notice that?

  • yep.

  • Ok, good. I'm not crazy. lol.

  • not only his singing but his stage antics are different as well, normally you see him running around the entire stage, jumping up and down like crazy, but he just kind of stood there, same as in other videos from this concert. very weird. RATM still kicks ass though.

  • Ya. I wonder if he's just getting old, or maybe he's just grown up...

  • Lol, I think that night was just exciting for him. It was a great show, 2nd time I have seen them, they were great.

  • He is like preacher style ! That is going with years!

  • Ya. That makes sense, but he' skinda pulling a cornell then. He went from hard rock, into sumwat gospel. and Cornell tried to do killing in the name of and stuff... which was pretty good, im not gonna lie, but... ya know.... ya...

  • he did this song different...he didn't rap any of it, he just added a different more calming style to it. I was there like 20 feet from the stage, and everyone was goin shit nuts n he needed us to calm down, so he calmed down himself hoping we would too ppl were gettin hurt n shit

  • I guess that makes sense. but he performs a lot of his songs like that nowadays too. Probably not just to calm people down. Maybe it's cause audioslave had such a calling with it. I just hope they don't try to cover like a stone or something... well... I guess it could be interesting...

  • My grandma died 20 minutes before the show started so I didn't get to see it... :(

  • That's terrible... I'm so sorry

  • that sucks man, you have my condolences.

  • Thanks for the proshot!!! Good show!!!

  • oh my god that concert was THE SHIT i was 3 feet from the fence in the middle/right

  • I was in the middle, but my friends said there were a lot of people hurt by that fence. Some girl broke a lot of ribs.

  • That was the best concert of my life, I was in the pit the whole time, but i felt the midwest love. Chicago is a fucking beatiful city. Rage is the greatest band of all time.

  • best fucking show ever i just would want to relive that day one more time if i could

  • best fucking show ive ever been to and the best show ill ever see easily

  • That was a lot of work getting to the front, but I couldnt be stopped!!!!!

  • This show was insane!!!

  • that show was crazy, i saw like 8 people near me pass out by the 4th song

  • his speech about the administration was amazing. DON'T BUY INTO THE ADMINISTRATION'S FEAR CAMPAIGN.

  • lol fuck the administration, fuck the NSA, fuck the CIA, fuck the FBI, fuck those assholes trying to keep me "safe" by insighting anti-american violence across the globe, fuck them for trying to scare us all into thinking the big bad arab man is going to "get" us unless we carpet bomb the middle east. Meanwhile we get screwed at the gas pumps, in education, the economy, b/c too many Americans buy into the fear created by the administration.

  • Nice comments you asshole. If your ancestors thought like you idiots think, everyone west of Denver would be f ing Japanese and everyone east of Ohio would be German you dumb fuck.

  • it's about balance. If everyone thought like you do, we'd have blown away every man woman and child with a different skin pigment. There is a difference between fighting an enemy and fighting a country that has never attacked us, without the support of the American people, and then saying it was all in the name of freedom. I don't need some dumb paranoid fucker at the airport to take the shaving cream out of my bag but forget to look for razors. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?

  • We agree ThumbWar, it's about balance and you don't have much of it. You've got alot of anger in your messages. I'll bet your mommy and daddy work very hard to enable your smart mouthed, punk ass to attend this concert and give you the right to spout off your angry "anti Bush" bullshit. And, you're wrong about my "blowing away every man or woman with different skin pigment." I'm no racist, I'm a black man who attended this concert, just like you did and respect Rage's

    right to say whatever.

  • 1. Why can't you be racist, just because you are black?

    2. I buy my own concert tickets, along with everything else I buy.

    3. I am no hippy, I don't smoke pot, I'm not a punk or a rebel, I'm just sick of all the shit that has gone on for the last 8 years, and that I am concicuentially suffering for. Iraq is not 1939 Japan or Germany. Attacking Iraq after 9/11 would have been like if we attacked Korea after Pearl Harbor. Truth is, we thought it would be an easy foothold in mid-east oil

  • I was there, and it was SICK!!! Zac blew my mind, especially when he got political.

  • hey i was there. The show was fuckin bad ass.

  • they were amazing!

    and the mosh was sick!

  • When this show happened? I know it's 2008. But this month?

  • yah a few days ago lol

  • Yesterday

  • yesterday at Lollapalooza.

  • it was 2 days ago at lollapalooza

  • Rage totally owned Lollapalooza saturday night. I was right near the stage and it was crazy. Fuck the police!

  • best performance and crowd energy of all time!

  • lol fuck you vip lol that was a fun chant....

  • this is just amazing. best band i've ever seen!
