this brings me back to when times were simple, when there were only 13 channels on a tv ,when tv was good. To be honest,if I could, I would prefer to travel back,just to resample the 70's.
Another gem missing from the DVD set, this time the 4th season is a different mix of the theme song that only appeared in 1 episode. It was the premiere episode entitled "The Return Of Ida". The theme song had a completely different drum beat, and sounded a little more acqoustic (you could hear a hint of acqoustic guitar). It was sadly replaced with the standard version on the box set.
@Aeolis7 Glad you enjoyed it,is from the UK cable channel UK Gold in the 90s,they showed the Brenda and Rhoda dancing sequence for about three episodes then it went back to Rhoda trying on the hat,in the opening.
Sent it to snowpeck who kindly uploaded it,thought it might have been on the DVD of season3 but alas,no.
I could be wrong but I think this preceded the episode "Together Again, for the First Time" when this episode was shown on BBC 2 in 1987.

@kduideo I was actually able to find an old audio tape that has the very version I mentioned before!
I am going to transfer the audio to my computer, clean it up, and mix it in with the opening credits for season 4.
I'll post it on YouTube, and link it here.
