their legs look like feathers - how do they life them so easily? it would take so much of my strength to lift it above my head w/o holding it like that and they have no muscle bulge. so jealous!
I don't think i made sense in my last comment but the policy in sport and an art, there should be a requirement of certain body type like these gymnasts.
-You can hate me in this comment, but its just my opinion and a reality in this sport.
I think with this sport, you really have to have a specific body type, more than any of sport and more than other gymnastics disciplines...they are all long, skinny waifes, with impeccable strength and flexibility

indeed. I think its changing now that there shoould be a right to do ballet or do gymnasts. I am seeing that some companies accepting a dancers or gymnasts who doesn't have the body that they should have. ( i'm not sure if i am making sense) So my point is there should be a restriction of who should do the sport with what type of body.
The girls are so supportive and helpful with each other! That's so nice to see :)

Wow...these girls are amazing. How long have most of the girls been training? What age do they usually start?
KieranDancer 3 years ago
In these countries as young as 2 and 3. But in the Western world this would not be allowed and it would be around 6.
Also, the girls in these countries can be pulled out of school by their coaches if they wish but obviously in the Western world this wouldn't happen

Mmmm. Young. Is it still possible to obtain this flexibility if you start later?
KieranDancer 3 years ago 2
Yes, but you would have to work harder and it would be more painful. Just train hard and push at it. You must be determined.
