This is how a man should look like not does people on steroids , they look like buls, porpotions are more important than how big the muscle is in my opinion.
wow these guys are tiny lol fuck Marky Mark was built better than these guys in his days as a model. How they even call themselves bodybuilders? Im more built from doing pushups than these clowns
@brickiebill1 you might THINK you're bigger than them when you pose 5 feet away from your bathroom mirror. But under the brightness of the stage lights when you're being viewed from a distance, everybody looks punier than they really are!
@afterburn1977 Wow...such strong jealousy...which is a shame because we used to be such good friends too. It's too bad you can't compete against me since you've already admitted to using steroids - it would have been nice to place above you just for being a jerk :)
hey I'm going to do a natural competition and I'd like to know where/how can I learn to get that dry and lean without losing mucle, Ive seen natural BBers usually still bloated when they hit the stage id like to know how I can get so dry can u give me some tips on where to learn about it ? thx in advance from a future fellow natural bber !
@goanyways Actually, if you knew the science behind things, it would make sense why I do what I do :) If I did what the other guys typically do, I would look soft and watery on stage like they do LOL
@Sporto4323 Cool man, I'm here to learn and clearly the technique being utilized here pre-contest has no visable detriments to the vitality of muscle tone/watery appearance etc. So it makes sense to do what has been done all throughtout training to maintain what has already been put into sequence for so long in the months prior ie. keep the wheels spinning so nothing has a chance to break down. Anyhow, awesome job man all the best I was/am routing for you and am glad you won. Thanks 4da reply :)
In response to some of the things being said, bodybuilding isn't even about the shows. The shows are just something for you to do as something extra. In my opinion, BB is about the lifestyle and seeing how YOU can change YOURSELF. I only have about a year of training and I'm already 18. If I never do a show in my life I won't be mad, because I will have succeeded in my bodybuilding goals (non-contest) and I KNOW I CAN.
@UhhNegative Sounds like your just afraid to compete. Competition breeds excellence. Your probably just scared to compete because you know you will get trashed at a show. I am strong, cut, and in shape year round sure, and I continue to progress. But I get in a million times better shape when I am training to compete for a show. It's easy to train when there is no pressure. The shows are definitely not just extra. They determine how you actually stack up compared to competition. And
@Fir3fly798 It's not that I'm scared to compete. I'm nowhere near ready. I've only been training for a little over a year and a half and I do what I do because I love it. Hey, if down the road I compete a few times that'll be fun. The point is I just love this lifestyle and do it for myself and seeing how far I can push myself. I don't try to prove myself to other people, it's just me and the iron.
@UhhNegative - bodybuilding isn't about the competition? the idea of bodybuilding as a life style or sport is that you dedicate all your time, mentally and physically, to getting on stage and unveiling the best physique possible. The contest is what drives us to work our hardest and improve ourselves. bodybuilders train for bodybuilding contests. if you don't think competing matters it is simply because you lack the physical and mental strength required to do so.
It's called drug detection times. Understand in Competitive BB it's business first competition last.
That means the promotor usually knows who is going to win before the show even starts. Sadly the winner sometimes (mostly) are on anabolics, gh, and diuretics. I know this for a fact!
Maybe in the NPC, but that is certainly not the case in just about all the natural shows from other organizations. If that were true, there are certain influential individuals in natural bodybuilding that would never lose..and guess what? They lose to the better bodybuilder LOL Again, Natural bodybuilding is HARDLY business first because there is HARDLY any money in it to begin with.
Natural Body Building is a big lie, the competitive atheletes in this sport call themselves natural when they know its bullshit. After 2years of working in natural BB, watching and hearing stories of the lie detector questions. It's bullshit! People it's just like the NFL, Baseball, Olympics and so on.
Also, if someone has to CHEAT to win a natural bodybuilding competition, that says a lot about that person as a human being and how insecure he/she is. It's sad and pathetic that people do this to feel better about themselves, but again, this is no different than anything else in life. But to make a blanket statement claiming all of us cheat and natural bodybuilding is a big lie is quite, frankly pretty, ignorant on your part
The athletes are just mere tools. Think about this. At the World's , isn't it funny that the top 5 placings in all the classes represent somebody??? The judges at the World's are also trainers and have there own clients on stage at the show they're judging.
the bald guy is mike scullio, he's completely natural... i think you guys might be mistaking him for Greg Valentino... lol really not a mistake you should be making
that guy has a great build too. I'm surprised he didn't win 1st place considering the fact that he had an Herculean physique which was different from the others who looked Apollonian.
Either way, I commend all the competitors in that competition. They're truly inspiring.
it really is a true sport. its not like a home run derby of size. many people say this bc they just wanna see the "BIG GUY". its such a great sport tho , i've done 3 inbf shows hope to be a pro myself oneday. tommy god bless keep up the goodwork n keep being a TRUE BODYBUILDER
once again abunch of people see a guy w/ a big upper body and think its a bodybuilding contest. a bodybuilding show is a complete physique judgement. SHAPE SYMMETRY PROPORTION CONDITION SIZE. its one of the 5. if u want to see a size contest go to the IFBB. this is why natural bodybuilding is so appealing to me. tommy ur doin awesome bro keep up the good work. it just makes me mad 2 when people see meatball 275 lbguy benching a lot saying he'd bea good bber.
What? You can def look like the bald guy naturally. The biggest problem with natural bodybuilding is they say the competitors are too small, then when someone with mass comes along, they say hes on the juice. You can never win. You have to do it for yourself and stay true to yourself.
But then you have to think to yourself - how big would he have been had he been even remotely lean enough to give me a run for the competition? How much of that mass would have stayed? How much smaller would his legs have been? Because he probably would have looked like a lot of naturals with good size upper bodies and small legs...
that bald guy was on the show about steroids and openly admitted to use. he said he was using for 21 years so I don't know what the fuck he is doing in this.
when I saw him I shit, what the hell kind of testing do they do. that bald guy is involved in the magazine MS ( muscular deployment ) he admitted to doing roids for 21 years.
on U-Tube typ in " truth about steroids" you will see him talk about his abuse of the drug.
where do you lift? and where can u get ur contest prep coach and how much is it?
