  • I just noticed how much of a mess youtubes comment sections are... They need to fix it by adding a sort of catagorization engine to the comment section.

  • @Cursed1993 You'd think that somebody would understand the concept of having the @ part of a reply link back to what is being replied to.

  • @Oreichalcos no, i understand that. What I'm trying to say is that it just isn't organized... Like there should be different boxes or something where conversations held are located. this would be much more organised and easier to keep track of. Say, if you were reading a conversation held in a youtube video's comment section. you shouldn't need to travel back 5-10 pages to find the other guys last comment. Seems like a good idea to me...

  • @Cursed1993 That's not what I meant, sorry. What I meant is that the @ part of a reply -doesn't- link to the comment that it is replying to, which makes no sense on YouTube's part. On most other forums and the like, pressing that @ either gives you a list of the previous responses or actually takes you to the post that it is being replied to, both of which help with reading a conversation.

  • @Oreichalcos ah ok lol. I guess I misunderstood your last comment. Yeah but thats what I meant in my first comment. Things should be more organized. It really makes no sense to me why youtube would make things like this. ofcourse as far as my own convo's go, theres a special part of the comment section dedicated to my conversation. But yet nobody elses conversations are organized, leaving the whole comment section looking messy, and unfinished. idk.... stupid youtube i guess lol.

  • Bach Double...i am so playing this with distortion when i get my SV-150!!

  • This is perfect, i can't believe there is a retard who leaves bad comments about this video. I think people just don't want to believe that metalheads can do something awesome, but screw you all...

  • Too much reverb!!!! Cringe!!!

  • Drums make it sound like a polish picnic part, and doesn't seem to fit into a wonderful sound as chamber music. Use very little, if any, drums. Save it for the sumer picnics or beer fest. :)

  • the timing is off on some parts but really fucking good IMO

  • WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is very beutiful

  • this is gonna be me and my buddy one day!!

  • @xXKennaNSamiXx whiner

  • @micktheman100 ????? but i can almost play this..... but my partner is slackin offf..

  • great

  • So what classic pieces is this based on?

  • no boundaries? did michael angelo batio sample some of this?

  • wonderful^_^

  • Bach Metal LOL

  • @PizzaPayYan101

Why is that so funny? Even Baroque has a ton in common with metal. And, if you check out some of the darker pieces of the Romantic/Contemporary eras, you'll see some blalantly obvious similiarities with even death metal. Even though stereotypes about Classical place the style as being "pleasant", "quiet", and "boring", this couldn't be further from the truth.

  • can you (or someone) please post this band's version of the mendelssohn concerto in e min please? thanks.

  • un buen intento solamente ._.

  • this sounds like some jolly classical music not metal... just because it has technical guitar doesn't mean its metal... would sound so awesome as deathmetal with some double kick and heavy riffs.

  • Excellent playing ! Nice piece too. How about a heavier- backing version ?

  • PLEASE TURN COMENTS OFF!!

  • The only thing that sux is the drums and bass

  • What violins?? This is electric guitar!

  • @TheodenN

The partitas are that of a violin. Composed for violins, but in this case performed on guitars. Its classical music terminology.

  • I agree, not metal, but Progressive Virtuosity nonetheless.

The original (Bach) shows more technical prowess because a bow can have more diversity and efficiency in accents and crescendos. An electric guitar and a pick can't do much of that because the feedback on the guitar is used WAY too much.

  • I like this, but it would it's not heavy enough. It needs some double base drums and more distorion.

  • not metal

  • what makes this special? only added a beat and played by electric violins. Does this make it a metal chamber orchestra?

if the metalheads want to listen Bach, they should listen the original, because this really is not good.

  • it's played by electric guitars, and that makes it way harder

  • It seems harder on violin for me. No frets, 4 strings, much shorter scale, played with a bow instead of a pick, etc.

    But I'm a guitarist, not a violinist... :P

  • i play both, and it's not that hard to play faster notes on the violin as long as you stay away from bouncing (the bow). with the guitar (at least for me) it's a little harder to sync the pick and the fingers. maybe I just suck -shrug-

  • I play violin and electirc guitar and in my opinion both instruments have their difficulties but i don't think that having no frets makes things harder, you really get used to it and having a good sense of hearing makes playing the violin really comfortable, it seems to me that frets are some kind of limitation to the music intention but give better orientation, so both fingerboards - the ones with frets and the ones without - equalize each other in arguments I suppose

  • @Lioc well frets allow for longer sustain, and also dont forget the harmonics. not to mention that guitars have 6 or 7 strings, each of which can be played independent of each other AT THE SAME TIME. I think the electric guitar is more dynamic then violin, but BOTH are difficult to master =) (i play both)

  • @minion6500 You've never heard of Wood violins, have you?

  • @IshtarPiccolo if u wanna CALL it a violin.............

  • @minion6500 Quacks like a duck, doesn't it? Just because it can be fretted and has seven strings doesn't mean it's not a violin.

  • @IshtarPiccolo and a drum kit can be a timpani...... and a harpsichord can be a piano......ECT

  • @minion6500 Harpsichords have a certain sound to them that's different than a piano. Not sure about drum kits and timpanis, but harpsichords have a very distinct sound. Violins also have a distinct sound, different than guitars, and I think the piece could be improved by using a violin.

  • @IshtarPiccolo perhaps, but thats more of a personal preference. agree to disagree XD

  • @minion6500 Haha, alright. (wow, a civil youtube discussion?)

  • it's Bach

  • What song are they playing and how are they making the violins sound like electric guitars? This is tight!

  • The violin's are electric, thats why.

  • it IS electric guitar

  • i played this in HS. then plyd in a country band after college. ive had an Efiddle but have yet to try distrn on it until NOW. this was awesome

  • I remember when Yngwie first came out on his own, and thinking he would have done this justice. Although, nothing beats the original violin version. Man, I love Bach! lol

  • a bit slower will be good, I play violin and I really like this piece. I like it is good to listen to

  • i am learning this song onviolin

  • These electric guitars almost have an organ sound.

  • The guitar is great, but the simple drum kills it all

  • @ACT4F8 yeah, the drums are terrible in this one

  • @ACT4F8 i totally agree :( sucks cuz this could have been amazing!!!!

  • @ACT4F8

I soooooooooo agree about the drums. It makes this piece sound more like a polish picnic party. In it's own place, that is cool, but not here.

  • @kandb2 hahahahaha !

  • im a violinist and ive been working on this song lately

its really good....but to be honest i think it would sound better on two electric violins.

  • brilliant

  • Very nice, i £uv it! ;)

  • The electric guitar is what the violin used to be. Paganini, if he were alive today, would definately be on an electric guitar. Back in his own time, his guitar playing was said to have been near in talent to what he could do on the violin. What better endorsement could you have?

  • I agree with you.Paganini was known to be a show off on the violin,so if he was alive today he would deffenately be an electric guitar virtuoso.

  • he was reincarnated as Yngwie J Malmsteen!

  • @gourmetchubs lol, tell that to a Concertmaster!

  • bach concerto for two violins......wow...i love heavy metal..

  • Awesome, really. Wish I could have a chance to see they live some gigs one day

  • They are playing fast more than an " allegro" because we are talking about Heavy Metal way to play, almost all of people here usually listen the original version, but this is Heavy Metal, understand it !

  • cool xD

    and well played, too!!

  • Bach would be proud.

but it should have been played just a bit slower to get more of the feel

  • You mean he would play it a bit slower to get a *different* feel. ;)

  • Actually, this piece is pretty fast. "Vivace" means "quick and lively"

  • I really like the idea, there are a few things I'd change though... I think it's just a little bit too fast and the drums sound comical. Talented bunch though

  • ...Hmm... Mmmm, mm... HEY this sh*t is brilliant

  • Kick-ass

  • Sounds like, Jason Becker and Marty Freidman in Cacophony :)

    I really like it!

  • wow its really good

  • LOVE IT! i just learned the 2nd violin to this, nice to here it harder core than classical!, this sounds awesome

  • Reminds me of the music from CastleVania for the original NES. Great Video, i love it. 5/5 stars all the way.
