The girl had the choice: the choice where she was, who she was with, and most of all the choice to refuse an alcohol. She had not walked to the hospital for "one day" like my friend, and asked to be murdered in the hospital ! There are other young people who are doing the same, except they are not killed yet, or worse yet, had not killed innocent other drivers! Friends and parents endorse it, until something happens!!!!

Kelli never saw a drop of alcohol in our home. she did not know her driver and did not know he was drunk.  she was getting a ride home with him, he was a friend of a boy she knew from her high school. i did not give permission for her to get in that car. i didnt even know she was in it until she died 20 minutes after entering the car.

1) no one is asking you or anyone else to think it's tragic that my daughter died.

2) she wasnt dumb. she was drunk after ADULTS sold alcohol to a minor.

3) she made the last mistake of her life by drinking that night & she paid the ultimate price for her actions. so whats your problem?
