@Terrence709 I never had lessons either. I'm not amazing but I'm decent now. I learned by writing my own songs and finding the chords to match them. After that, just keep expanding. Write songs with different chords. That way you're learning at your own speed and not the speed of someone else you're trying to copy. Once you have quite a few chords learned, picking is easy to pick up. You just play the chord in pieces and maybe add or remove a finger.

That's my suggestion.

Why do so many guitar players make lousy teachers? Pick faster, then faster, then faster....Why dont teachers instead of say, "to play fast you pick fast", ok well how about the picking technique..do you pick from your elbow like he does, or with your wrist..I prefer the wrist...etc...ha ha "pick fast play fast"

I know its technique of pull offs etc but i think a guitar setup makes it easier , distortion too and some compressor? I m not good at guitar playing so i wanna learn how to make my guitar the faster i can i mean to dont pick notes and get sounds .

Your playing is good it's not your skill level thats the problem. Even some of the best guitar players dont make very good teachers because they dont go into enough depth about what exactly it is that they are doing. In a way, they take their own skill level for granted and for forget that the beginner won't have the skill to play a single note rapidly so alot of players dont bother talking about right hand technique. It's like teaching a baby how to run when it just started to crawl

I wish that I couldn't hear your accent, as it makes me want to smash my computer, guitar, neighbors and dog. The 80s are over, learn some sweeps. I love how you made a "how to" video on something that requires muscle memory. I have a "how to" tip for anyone watching, do it over and over slow and clean, then pick up the pace slightly, slowing back down if you mess up. That is the ONLY advice you need in this situation. Practice. 95% of guitar is muscle memory, so practice.

@MapleLeafAce practice, it is muscle memory. Pick a song out and start alternating, I like to use fingerpicked songs to practice my picking techniques on.
