Brian Robertson played guitar on this album and the supporting tour, although Eddie put in an unscheduled appearance in the encore at the last Hammersmith Odeon gig. I was there, and Eddies brief 'return' was received with such rapturous enthusiasm compared to the main gig that it was pretty obvious to everyone there that Robertson was a dead man walking, at least as far as any future involvement with Motorhead was concerned.

I work in a music store and you'd be surprised what bollocks is classed as worthy of inclusion in the "metal" section - Linkin Park, Lostprophets, Alexisonfire etc.

Motorhead have never been 'death metal', and anyone that thnks they have are a fool.

Lemmy's even said on record that they're not a metal band they're a "hard rock" band.

Good metal like this still doesn't get any radio time, in case you didn't notice. Heavy Metal just gets overlooked. There aren't any metal stations where I live. It's all this cheap ass "new rock" and worthless rap stations. Not even the classic rock stations have any classic metal. It pisses me off a lot.

Yes most radio stations ignore great music like this but Planet Rock is an exception. They play classic rock and do occasionally throw in a classic metal track or two.
