Im still confused about WHEN the PS3 80GB is coming out in Europe/England...

I went to my local game shop and they said that they only sell 40GB PS3's... thats bollocks innit?

So when is the 80GB actually coming out in England? because right now im dying to buy a PS3 but i dont want a crappy 40GB with low hard drive and non ps2 game compatability, that sucks.

actually the uk ps3 80gb unfortunately has not got backward compatibility, no memory card readers and only 2 usb ports however it does have an improved chipset so it means that it will run more efficently (by using less power) and it is extreemly quiet (its as quiet as the ps2 slimline). Please dont get put of by this as you probably have a ps2 anyway (the ps2 is better for playin ps2 games on it thn the ps3). and you could always add a memor card reader and a usb hub.
